Fans Are Convinced This Couple Will Host Bachelor In Paradise
Bachelor Nation is ready for a shake-up! With longtime host Chris Harrison stepping away from the franchise — at least temporarily — amidst controversy, fan favorites Kaitlyn Bristowe and Tayshia Adams were announced as the co-hosts of The Bachelorette's Season 17. Yet with two back-to-back Bachelorette seasons in 2021 — plus Bachelor in Paradise this summer — will Kaitlyn and Tayshia be hosting all spinoffs?
For one, scheduling would make that impossible. Paradise is expected to overlap with Michelle Young's season of The Bachelorette, slated to start production this summer to accommodate her teaching schedule, per Variety. Additionally, there is a "senior citizens" spinoff in the works for this year as well. That would be a lot for Tayshia and Kaitlyn to handle on their own!
Viewers first speculated that Bachelorette success story JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers might be part of Paradise. The couple's Costa Rica-based Instagram photos implied they were filming a beach-themed reality series; turns out they are, but just not for Bachelor Nation!
So who might be hosting Bachelor in Paradise? Keep scrolling to find out which couple fans are convinced will be taking the reins from Chris Harrison this summer.
Fans believe this iconic couple will return to Bachelor in Paradise
Bachelor in Paradise seems even more successful than The Bachelor or The Bachelorette at forging true romance. Ashley Iaconetti — known to viewers as Ashely I. — and Jared Haibon had a tumultuous affair that resulted in Ashley's constant heartbreak and signature tears. Yet the Paradise couple eventually got engaged in June 2018 after being on-and-off for years, and tied the knot in August 2019, per People.
Now, fans think Ashley and Jared will return to Paradise as hosts. "It makes sense to do a Bachelor success story couple, and they are all too familiar with how BiP works," a Reddit thread began. "It'll likely either be them or Jade and Tanner. They're the only two marriages to come out of the series," another fan agreed.
However, some viewers called out Ashley's past treatment of fellow Paradise star, and Jared's ex, Caila Quinn. During season 3, Ashley voiced her frustration over their relationship by mocking a "backstabbing" Caila, per ABC.
Both Ashley and Jared have voiced their thoughts on Chris Harrison's apology. "I don't think it's really up to us [as non-BIPOC] if what Rachael [Kirkconnell] said is enough, what Chris [Harrison] said is enough," Jared stated on Access Hollywood's Bachelor Tea Party. "Personally, I don't think it is." The couple also was tempted to imagine what Bachelor Nation would look like without a host. Maybe they won't be on the beach this summer after all?
