Tayshia Adams Reveals Why She Took Off Her Engagement Ring From Zac Clark

Former The Bachelor and The Bachelorette star Tayshia Adams had fans worried after she was spotted without her engagement ring on social media in March 2021. Tayshia got engaged to Zac Clark during Season 16 of The Bachelor spin-off in late 2020 when she replaced Clare Crawley as the Bachelorette after Clare found love early on with Dale Moss and decided to leave the show. Tayshia and Zac seem to have been going strong ever since, but the former has had to do some damage control on social media.

Tayshia had Bachelor Nation talking when she posted a number of updates to her social media — including videos and photos shared to her Instagram Story — that did not feature her stunning engagement ring from Zac (via People). In one, she filmed herself using her phone with her ring finger bare, which had fans flooding to her DMs to ask if she'd ended her relationship with Zac. Tayshia addressed all the speculation in a series of videos posted to her Instagram Stories on March 15, 2021. But what did she have to say? Read on to find out.

Tayshia Adams addressed the breakup speculation

In her March 15, 2021 Instagram Story update, Tayshia Adams shot down rumors of a split with Zac Clark and revealed she'd taken off her engagement ring to get it resized (via People). She admitted fans who noticed she didn't have it on in a video were wrong anyway, as she was actually showing her right hand and it only looked like her left because it was taken in selfie mode as a mirror image.

"There's always weird rumors circulating around that I'm not wearing my ring and that Zac and I are broken up. I don't know what is happening, but you guys, I was holding my phone with my left hand," she said. "But ironically enough, as I was showing my hand maybe a week and a half ago, my ring was literally swinging around my finger, and a lot of you messaged me like, 'Don't lose your ring!'"

Tayshia revealed she'd spent some time in Los Angeles and was able to "finally drop off" her ring to get it sized and cleaned by the show's jeweler Neil Lane. She said she was hoping to have it back on March 16 or March 17, 2021, and doubled down on her claims that there's no trouble in paradise. "Everything is good on this forefront," Tayshia said, shortly before Matt James' controversial final The Bachelor episode aired on ABC. "Thank you so much for being concerned, but we're good. We're chillin'."
