Princes Charles Was Just Asked About Harry And Meghan. Here's How He Replied
Prince Charles' reaction to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's interview with Oprah Winfrey is something that people have been very curious about. An unnamed friend of Charles told Vanity Fair that he is "in a state of despair" following the interview that his son and his daughter-in-law gave. The friend added that the things Harry said about his father were a "major blow to his reputation," and that Harry cast a "damaging light" on Charles as well as the royal family by saying some of the things he did — specifically that he "felt let down by his father."
As of this writing, Charles has not released a public statement of any kind about the interview. However, he was asked about it following his appearance at Jesus House church in north London on March 9, 2021, according to the Daily Mail. Needless to say, Charles' reaction was not all that surprising.

Prince Charles didn't say much at all when asked about the interview
On March 9, 2021, mere days after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's interview with Oprah Winfrey first aired, Prince Charles visited Jesus House church where he spoke with hospital staff and patients as the coronavirus vaccine was being distributed. According to the Daily Mail, the Prince of Wales "seemed at ease" as he made conversation with people inside the church. It wasn't until Charles left the building that a reporter asked the burning question that just about everyone seems to want an answer to: "Sir, what did you think of the interview?" Per the outlet, "Charles turned around to see who had called out, before smiling and carrying on walking."
Express U.K had a similar take on the matter, going a step further by reporting that Charles actually "chuckled" before walking away. The relationship between Charles and his youngest son, Prince Harry, is thought to be strained, to say the least. During his interview with Oprah, Harry revealed that his dad had stopped taking his calls in 2020 (via CBS). Things may have been getting better, but many feel as though that interview strained any relationship (or chance for one) between Charles and Harry.
