Where Does Steph Curry Live And How Big Is His House?
Golden State Warriors all-star point guard Stephen "Steph" Curry has changed the game of basketball forever. Now, he's turning his sights to Bay Area real estate.
In 2019, Forbes ranked Curry as the fourth wealthiest basketball player of all-time, behind Kevin Durant, LeBron James, and Michael Jordan. Curry's five-year deal with the Warriors for $201 million no doubt added to his listing, plus contracts with leading brands like Under Armour. The Warriors are based in one of the most expensive cities in the nation, so it makes sense Curry is sinking some of his millions into a home.
Curry, his wife Ayesha Curry, and their three children — Riley, Canon, and Ryan — reside in Atherton, Calif. At one point, Curry owned three properties all within a few miles of each other. Per Architectural Digest, Curry listed a three-bedroom home for $1.39 million in February 2021 in Menlo Park, Calif. only three miles from his personal $31 million mansion that he purchased in 2019. Additionally, Curry owns an $8 million Four Seasons Residences condo in San Francisco across from the Chase Center where the Warriors play.
But what about Curry's home where he and Ayesha are raising their children? Keep scrolling to find out more about their Atherton estate!
Steph Curry lives in a multi-million-dollar Atherton mansion
According to The San Francisco Chronicle, Steph Curry is only one of the many multimillionaires living in the suburb of Atherton, Calif. With an average home sale for 2019 of $8.1 million, Curry's fortune is all relative.
In June 2019, the Curry family purchased a $31 million home off of thoroughfare El Camino Real. The mansion was "built on speculation" that same year by developer Joe Comartin, per Dirt. The modern-style house boasts three stories, guest house, three-car detached garage, and a poolside cabana with a fireplace and built-in barbecue. Various rooms in the home feature floor-to-ceiling windows to bask in the Bay Area breeze and famed sunny California weather, per NBC Sports. The living room even has a retractable screen for easy indoor-meets-outdoor dining.
While Curry himself has been tight-lipped about living in Atherton, wife Ayesha has posted photos with their three children enjoying the large backyard at their home. For Halloween 2019, the family dressed up in Toy Story 4 themed costumes and shared snapshots of posing with their "babies" near their pool. Seems like a great home to grow up in!
