What We Know About Justin Bieber's New Album, 'Justice'

Justin Bieber's fans have been patiently awaiting his new album since he told them he was "going over track listing for the album" in a January 2021 tweet. Bieber released his fifth studio album Changes in February 2020, marking it his first full length project since 2015's Purpose. Bieber was thrilled to get back on the road for Changes and he constantly updated fans about his rehearsals by posting behind-the-scenes clips and shots of his experience. However, the Changes Tour never saw daylight because he, like many other artists, had to make some adjustments due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Bieber let his creative juices continue to flow during the pandemic, though, and released a series of singles between September and November 2020. The ball continued to roll into the new year, and Bieber had his first live concert in three years in a special T-Mobile live stream on New Year's Eve. The "Intentions" singer then followed up with a new single called "Anyone," which was released right after his concert. Bieber even surprised fans with a Valentine's Day show on TikTok, which aired twice.

Clearly, Bieber has been in the zone when it comes to music, and now the culmination of his labor will be shown off through a brand new album. Keep reading to learn everything we know about Justin Bieber's new album, Justice.

Justin Bieber's new album will include three recent singles

On Feb. 26, 2021, Justin Bieber announced on Instagram that his sixth studio album, Justice, will be released on March 19, 2021, just 18 days after his 27th birthday. Bieber provided a lengthy note with his album announcement that gave insight into the meaning behind his new next project. "In a time when there's so much wrong with this broken planet we all crave healing and justice for humanity," he began. "In creating this album my goal is to make music that will provide comfort, to make songs that people can relate to and connect to so they feel less alone. Suffering, injustice and pain can leave people feeling helpless. Music is a great way of reminding each other that we aren't alone."

Bieber continued on to say that he realizes he can't fix the world's problems with his music, but knows that "if we all do our part by using our gifts to serve this planet and each other that we are that much closer to being united." He concluded, "This is me doing a small part. My part. I want to continue the conversation of what justice looks like so we can continue to heal."

Beliebers were immediately stoked for the new album, with one tweeting the music will "bless" their ears and another writing that they are not prepared for new music from Bieber. According to Pitchfork, Justice will include Bieber singles "Anyone," "Holy," and "Lonely."
