Who Is Jodie Foster's Wife, Alexandra Hedison?
Screen icon Jodie Foster has been a staple of Hollywood since 1969, per IMDb. From masterfully portraying FBI agent Clarice in Silence of the Lambs to her breakout role in Taxi Driver, Foster has won two Academy Awards for Best Actress in her acclaimed career.
Yet Foster's greatest role might be that of playing matchmaker. Her rumored hand in connecting co-star Shailene Woodley with Aaron Rodgers, her Green Bay Packers quarterback fiance, is just another strike by Foster's Cupid arrow. Foster's own love story is one for the ages: She married wife Alexandra Hedison in 2014.
Foster is famously private about her personal life. In a 2013 Golden Globes acceptance speech, she clarified that she prefers to keep her family life out of the spotlight. "I'm told, apparently, that every celebrity is expected to honor the details of their private life with a press conference and a primetime reality show. I'm sorry: that's just not me," Foster stated.
That includes keeping her two adult sons Charlie and Kit with former partner Cydney Bernard separate from her career. "I know the perils of having a parent involved in your art form are too great. My older son is getting more interested in acting now, and I'm glad he discovered it late. My younger son is really shy and I can promise you he will never be an actor," Foster teased to The Guardian in 2018.
