90 Day Fiance: What Anna And Mursel's Relationship Is Like Now
The genius of 90 Day Fiancé is in suspense created by the "will they, won't they" set up of the show. For those that haven't watched, 90 Day Fiancé follows several couples made up of an American and a foreigner as they navigate the U.S. visa system and decide whether to get married. The partners apply for a 90-day visa, which the U.S. grants to engaged couples, and at the end of the 90 days, they must wed if they want to stay in America together. The pairs often face extreme cultural differences and occasionally language barriers, making it hard to overcome even the pettiest disagreements. It's a formula that ensures lots of awkward moments and plenty of scandals.
No one knows this better than Season 7's Anna Campisi and Mursel Mistanoglu. Anna lived in Nebraska and met Mursel on a website for beekeeping enthusiasts. Even though they couldn't speak the same language, they fell madly in love. Things quickly became more complicated when Mursel's family didn't accept Anna because she was divorced (a no-no for some in the Turkish culture) and wasn't a Muslim. Mursel even returned to Turkey for a while when the pressure became too great. As such, fans assumed he and Anna were doomed, per Screen Rant.
So what's going on with them now? Did they make it work, or didn't they? Read on to find out.
Anna and Mursel are busy bees
Fans weren't sure what would happen to Anna Campisi and Mursel Mistanoglu, the stars of Season 7 of 90 Day Fiancé, when Mursel boarded a plane and returned to Turkey, saying he couldn't take the constant fighting with Anna anymore. They all stood up and cheered, though, when he returned to Nebraska, calling Anna his true love and saying he was willing to work through the cultural differences to make the relationship work.
So what's going on with them now? Well, it appears Anna and Mursel are together and living in Nebraska, raising Anna's three sons, Gino, Leo, and Joey. To overcome their cultural differences, Mursel has focused on improving his English, and Anna has started learning Turkish, per Screen Rant. They've even turned their mutual love of beekeeping into a successful business. Mursel and Anna now run their own small business called Beauty and the Bees, making artisanal soaps, foods, and beauty products from using honey from their swarm of honey bees. If that isn't the most wholesome thing you've ever heard, we don't know what is.
