The One Thing Jovi Dufren Didn't Want To Air On 90 Day Fiance
Season 8 of TLC's 90 Day Fiancé already has memorable couples, but New Orleans-born Jovi Dufren and his Ukrainian love Yara Zaya arguably take the cake in that department!
For those not in the know, the couple met when Jovi, an underwater mechanics engineer, was traveling abroad. Although neither was looking for a long-term relationship, they soon became inseparable. Their fling turned into something more after Yara found out she was pregnant, and Jovi filed for a K-1 visa. Yet a miscarriage brought the engaged pair even closer together, per TV Insider.
Now with Yara in the U.S., can this couple make it work for good? Jovi's former bachelor lifestyle leaves some of his friends and family wondering whether he's truly ready to settle down, according to Soap Dirt. Even trailers for the season highlight Yara getting fed up with Jovi's alleged drinking. But what is the one thing about Jovi's past that he didn't want to be discussed on-camera? Keep scrolling to find out!
Jovi Dufren didn't want his friend Sara to spill
Leave it to Jovi Dufren's friend Sara (pictured above) to spill the tea. When Jovi was away at work, Sara treated Yara Zaya to a spa day during which she opened up about Jovi's alleged past relationships with strippers. Sara teased that Jovi was on a first-name basis with dancers at local clubs and even was romantically involved with one. Hmm.
According to Cinema Blend, Jovi did not take Sara's betrayal of confidence lightly. After watching the clips in question on the Discovery+ spinoff series, 90 Day Bares All, Jovi posted a message to Sara on his Instagram Story. "I just wanna say thanks Sara for putting all of my business out there and telling everything you know about me," Jovi wrote. "Yeah, let's just say sh*t got real about the strippers. Not good." 90 Day Bares All host Shaun Robinson asked Sara for more details about Jovi's past relationships, and Sara claimed that she knows more about Jovi than she's letting on, but that it's really Jovi's place to be honest with his fiancé, per Screen Rant.
Regardless of Sara's gossip, though, it seems Yara and Jovi are a happy couple as of January 2020. Yara launched a YouTube vlog for fashion and makeup tips, and the couple reportedly welcomed a daughter in September 2020, per In Touch Weekly. Let's say their baby girl probably isn't named Sara!
