Gisele Bundchen Makes Huge Work Announcement
It's been an exciting, eventful, and life-changing 2021 so far for Gisele Bündchen. The model is fresh off of another Super Bowl, in which she watched as husband Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers brought home the big victory. Of course, this wasn't Bündchen's first Super Bowl experience. She has supported Brady through several Super Bowl runs throughout their marriage, though his 2021 victory was a first with the Buccaneers. Bündchen, along with her two children and Brady's son with Bridget Moynahan, was in the stands for the Feb. 7, 2021, game, cheering on her husband to his seventh Super Bowl win.
Although Bündchen has consistently expressed support for Brady's football career, she's had a very successful career of her own. She is one of the highest-paid and most well-known supermodels worldwide, and her decades-long career has only flourished throughout the years. However, Bündchen has stepped back from the modeling spotlight and paved ways for new business ventures. Now, Bündchen has made her notable career decision yet — keep reading for more details.
Gisele Bündchen is reportedly leaving her modeling agency
Gisele Bündchen is leaving IMG Models, the agency she's been a part of for 22 years, Page Six reported on Feb. 9, 2021. The supermodel's twin sister, Patricia, who already serves as Bündchen's manager, will reportedly take over her modeling representation now, too. Although the news may come as a surprise to fans of the model, this isn't the first time Bündchen has distanced herself from big names in the industry.
In her memoir Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life, Bündchen opened up about her decision to end her days as a Victoria's Secret model. Although she felt comfortable modeling in lingerie at the beginning of her career, as time went on, she described being "less at ease" with being so exposed on the runway, according to People. And then, in 2015, the supermodel announced via Instagram that she would be ending her runway career, though she wanted to "continue working in other facets of the business."
Clearly, Bündchen is no stranger to drastic career changes — and now that she, Tom Brady, and their family are supposedly planning a big move to Miami, per Page Six, she has plenty of things to keep her busy.
