Tom Brady And Family Celebrate Impressive Super Bowl Win
Super Bowl LV saw Tom Brady further cement his status as arguably the greatest quarterback in the history of the NFL. His Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the defending champs, the Kansas City Chiefs, 31-9 and Brady took home MVP honors at the age of 43. The game marked his tenth time making it to the Super Bowl, and he improved his record to 7-3 in those games. For the fourth time, Brady's family joined him at the game, per Yahoo! Sports.
Brady's wife, supermodel Gisele Bündchen, documented her exciting experience with several posts on social media. Prior to the game, she uploaded two snaps to Instagram where she wore a black, long-sleeved shirt with Brady's TB12 logo on the front and "Go Bucs!" written underneath. She took two selfies where she pointed to the shirt's logo and included "Let's go Bucs!!!!!!! Let's go papai!!!" in the caption.
Bündchen then took to Twitter to update fans during the championship game. After Brady connected with his friend and long-time teammate Rob Gronkowski for a touchdown, Bündchen went on Twitter to celebrate. "Yeaaaaaaaaa! Let's do this!!!!! @RobGronkowski!!!!" she wrote with a series of fist-bump emojis. Following a Buccaneers touchdown the former Victoria's Secret model tweeted, "Let's go Bucs!!!!!!!!! #Touchdown #SuperBowl."
For the big game, she was seated in a luxury box along with her and Brady's children, and, at that point, the celebration was just getting started.
Gisele Bündchen brought the kids to celebrate
Gisele Bündchen shared several videos on her Instagram Story during the game. She was joined by her and Tom Brady's kids, Benjamin and Vivian, and her step-son, Jack, who Brady shares with his ex-girlfriend, actress Bridget Moynahan. Right after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won the game, the model posted a quick video of the three kids clapping and jumping for joy as they waited for an elevator to get down to the field.
The quarterback was already on the field celebrating with his teammates as he soaked up the joy of taking home his seventh Super Bowl win, but Brady appeared overjoyed when his family joined him in the celebration. In a video that was posted by NFL Up's Twitter account, the football legend broke out in a giant smile when he saw his family approach. He first embraced his oldest son, Jack, in a bearhug while lifting him into the air. Next, he gave his daughter Vivian a hug, and then his son Benjamin. Bündchen followed close behind and the entire family grabbed each other for a heartwarming embrace. Shortly after, Brady and his wife locked lips as they celebrated the win.
Not only was Brady's wife happy, but his ex even sent him well-wishes on the impressive accomplishment.
Tom Brady has a complicated family life
Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen seemingly have a loving, blended family, but they were faced with difficult challenges early on in their relationship. During an interview with Howard Stern in April 2020 (via the New York Post), the NFL legend admitted that he had no intention of starting a family until he was in his late 30s and had already established his playing legacy.
Per the New York Post, that all changed when Brady broke up with long-time girlfriend Bridget Moynahan. Two months after the couple called it quits, Moynahan informed the quarterback that she was pregnant with their son, Jack. "That challenged me in a lot of ways. It was hard for my wife and for my son's mom because she didn't envision that either," Brady said while appearing on The Howard Stern Show.
Although it was difficult at the onset, all three of the parents developed a strong relationship for the sake of the family. "Gisele and Bridget now actually talk as much as Tom and Bridget, if not more," a source told Page Six.
After Brady nabbed his seventh Super Bowl victory, Moynahan took to Instagram to congratulate the father of her son. She posted a screenshot of a headline about the win and added the caption, "I am pretty sure I am not the only one from #patriotsnation celebrating @buccaneers."
Rob Gronkowski's girlfriend Camille Kostek joined in on the fun
Gisele Bündchen's friend, fellow model Camille Kostek, was present for the celebrations as well. Kostek is the girlfriend of Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski, and she uploaded several photos from the joyous Super Bowl celebration to her Instagram page.
Kostek posted a short clip of her and Bündchen on the field following the victory where the two models danced for the camera. The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue model followed that up with a two-photo post that had a pic of her about to embrace Bündchen while the Brazil native had her arm around her son Benjamin. For the second slide, Kostek included a snap of both Brady and Gronk smiling with looks of jubilation across their faces.
Although Brady looked ecstatic with his family on the field, he was decidedly more mellow in the team's locker room. Teammate Sean Murphy-Bunting took a video of the team basking in the big win as Brady was seen bent over in his locker gathering his belongings. "Tom is over there in his own little world," the Buccanneers player said, adding, "He been did this. He don't care. This man is a legend, dog."
Meanwhile, Brady could not even sleep in his own bed on the night of the Super Bowl victory. A NFL Network reporter tweeted out: "Tom Brady said he slept in his daughter's bed last night. He said his bed had 5 nieces and nephews in his bed. Laughed and said he got about 2 hours of sleep."
