Why Real Housewives Fans Are Worried After Sutton Stracke's Latest Instagram
Fans of the Real Housewives franchise got to know Sutton Stracke after she appeared as a friend of Lisa Rinna's on season 10 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. According to Us Weekly, the South Carolina-born boutique owner was originally slated to be a main cast member but was knocked down a "friend" role after her ex-husband, Christian Stracke, would not sign off on allowing their children to appear on the show. The couple married in 2000 and had three children together before divorcing in 2017.
While speaking to People, Sutton revealed that appearing on the hit reality show was a tumultuous experience, but one she would like to experience again. "It's quite a roller coaster ride," Sutton said, "It can be terrifying and then exhilarating at times. You get off the ride and you want to go back on it." Sutton also told the publication that she was disappointed that RHOBH fans were unable to see her adventurous party-loving side. "But I do have a fun aspect of my personality, so I was sad that we didn't get to see that," she told People.
In February 2021, Sutton was back in the spotlight for a different reason. The reality show newcomer shared a post on social media that showed off an injury and had fans buzzing.
Sutton Stracke accessorized with a wheelchair
Sutton Stracke is known as a couture queen, and in September 2020 she celebrated the one-year anniversary of the high-end boutique which is named after her, as per Apparel News. Fans became worried for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member when they saw her dressed in a chic outfit while sitting in a wheelchair.
The reality star's Instagram post showed her sitting in the wheelchair in the hallway of her home. She rocked a black off-the-shoulder dress and had her blond hair flowing over her shoulders. Sutton accessorized with bracelets on both wrists and held a gold-colored bag in her left hand while raising her right hand to her mouth. The boutique owner's left foot was heavily bandaged and there was a visible cut on her left leg. "About last night..." she wrote.
Concern poured in from Instagram followers. "Oh no! Hope you are ok! Stay safe," one fan wrote. "Dang honey!" another added. Several Instagram users joked that the injury must have been caused by having too many cocktails. "Omg!!!!!!! I hope you're ok but ... Must have been a good night," one follower replied while adding heart and cry-laughing emoji.
One fan joked about the wheelchair being designer. "I hope the wheelchair is D&G," they commented. Another offered consolation by pointing out that Sutton could still use her car: "From personal experience – the blessing in disguise – you can still drive."
