What's The Song In Mila Kunis And Ashton Kutcher's Cheetos Commercial?
Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher haven't shared the screen together since starring on That '70s Show in the early 2000s. But, the married couple returned to the spotlight for an appearance in a comical Cheetos commercial that brought us back to a time when they ruled the sitcom scene and a certain song filled the radio airwaves.
The two Hollywood actors first met in 1998 as teenagers starring on the popular series based in the '70s, via InStyle. Over the next decade, they remained friends while entertaining a few long-term relationships and marriages. For her part, Kunis dated Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin from 2002 until their "horrible breakup" in 2011, Hello Magazine reported. "That's kinda something that took me a long time to come out and be like, 'Yeah, you know what, I was a [expletive]', and accept it and I own it," she told Dax Shepard on a July 2018 episode of The Arm Chair podcast. "It's [expletive] up what I did. It's [messed] up what I did, and it's [messed] up how I did it."
Meanwhile, Kutcher dated a number of women in Hollywood before settling down with actress Demi Moore from 2005 until their divorce in 2013 (via Ranker). Considering the cheating rumors that plagued Kutcher, it's not too surprising that he reportedly started hooking up with Kunis in 2012 — the year before his divorce was finalized. But, two kids together later, it's clear the former co-stars were made for each other.
Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher jam out to Shaggy
Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are known for being a private couple, as noted by Elle. But in 2021, the superstar pair decided to put their love on display for a Cheetos Super Bowl commercial that features Shaggy's hit 2000 song "It Wasn't Me."
In the humorous ad, Kutcher confronts Kunis and asks if she's been eating his bag of Cheetos. After being caught and unsure how to respond, she looks off to the side for an answer from none other than Shaggy himself. He advises Kunis to tell her husband, "It wasn't me." The couple and reggae star then break out into a modified version of his chart-topping hit with Kutcher singing lyrics about all the places he's caught his wife eating his Cheetos. However, each time she gets called out, Kunis replies, "It wasn't me."
The commercial is pretty hilarious to say the least, and it persuaded Kunis and Kutcher to do something they never do, which is act in a project together. "They sent us this ad to do and every time I've ever been offered a Super Bowl ad it's always a female having to be scantily clad," Kunis told Entertainment Tonight. "And this one comes around, I started laughing so hard and Ashton was like, 'This is kind of funny.' And I was like, 'We should do it!'"
The That '70s Show veterans took us for a much-needed trip down memory lane.
