Inside Joe Giudice's Potential New Reality TV Show
Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Joe Giudice is leaving the past behind and is reportedly hoping to headline his own reality TV show, TMZ reported. The focus would be on his "post-prison/post-divorce life" in Italy, where he was born and now lives. As of now, his ex-wife, Teresa Giudice, and Bravo are "not involved," the outlet noted.
In October 2014, both Joe and his now ex-wife, Teresa Giudice, pled guilty "to mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud," according to a press release from the New Jersey District Attorney's office. Although Teresa was sentenced to 15 months, which she ended up getting reduced to 11, he was sentenced to 41 months. During his sentence, Giudice planned to treat his time in jail as a time to rehabilitate. "[I'm going to] work out. I'm going to get as many programs in as possible," he told People in a pre-prison interview. "Whatever they have available. It's like everything else; time does go by."
However, since getting out of jail, he's moved on from his old life — keep on reading for what he has been up to in recent years.
Joe Giudice's life is on the upswing
After serving his sentence, Joe got deported to Italy, his home country. Since then, he completed his divorce in September 2020 from ex-wife Teresa Giudice (the former couple has four daughters: Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana), per People.
Although a source told People in September that neither Joe and his ex were currently dating anyone, they've since both found love. Us Weekly revealed in December 2020 that Joe is dating lawyer Daniela Fittipaldi. Meanwhile, Tre is dating Luis "Louie" Ruelas. And although Teresa might not be attached to his reported new project, Joe and Teresa are on good terms. "They harbor no ill will toward each other and will continue to co-parent their kids," a source told Us Weekly.
Outside of dating, Joe has been busy with his new cooking show, Juicy Joe's Cucina: From Italy to Jersey. The show, which got announced in June 2020, "will feature the Italian family man competing against others during each episode — some of them being against his very own family," per In Touch Weekly. It sounds like Joe is quite busy these days!
