The Bachelorette: What Noah Erb's Been Up To Since The Show Ended
Noah Erb arrived on The Bachelorette ready to make an imprint on Tayshia Adams' heart. When he stepped out of the limo to meet Tayshia, who just moments before was revealed as season 16's second leading lady, he made sure she remembered him. Upon meeting her, the travel nurse pulled out a stethoscope and allowed Tayshia to listen to his heartbeat. "You know where my heart is from the start," Noah smiled.
Noah had a few more tricks up his sleeves during the season. In the Nov. 17, 2020 episode, he found himself on a group date he wasn't originally invited to after he volunteered to wrestle Chasen Nick in the date's wrestling tournament when Ed Waisbrot backed out, per Entertainment Tonight. This didn't sit well with the guys who were already on the date, and they showed their frustration after Noah received the date's rose. Noah took this as an opportunity to let Tayshia know her suitors were questioning her judgement, which in turn infuriated both Tayshia and the contestants. The aftermath of the date continued through Noah's time on the show, because Bennett Jordan in particular never wanted to let his anger towards Noah go. In the end, Bennett and Noah both got sent home.
While Bennett got a break from the reality of living through a pandemic while competing for Tayshia's love, he was bound to return to his life as a nurse someday. Keep reading to learn what Noah Erb's been up to since the show ended.
Noah Erb is full of self-reflection
While Bachelor Nation contestants often use their reality television fame as a chance to break into the influencing world, Noah Erb hasn't turned his social media into a money-making machine. Rather, he chooses to post few, but meaningful images on his Instagram.
For instance, following his departure from The Bachelorette, he shared what could be considered a book of a caption by Instagram's standard. "To say I'm speechless wouldn't be accurate because we all know I spoke my mind. When My little sister nominated me to be on the bachelorette I didn't know what to expect except that I was going to do everything in my power to be 100% genuine, 100% truthful and 100% vulnerable," he started. He continued the post as a deep reflection on the "testing and invaluable" time in his life. "Cheers to livin and stumbling through this messy messy thing we call life.. Enjoy the brevity of life, It's not perfect and it's not supposed to be but no matter what, keep goin," he ended.
To start 2021, Noah shared another vulnerable post to reflect on 2020. He called the year both "confusing" and "opportunistic," and again shared how thankful he was to experience all he did during the year. "2020 was one of the most tiring, unpredictable and rewarding years I've ever lived," he confirmed.
Aside from sharing his deepest thoughts and reflections, Noah Erb has continued to show followers a glimpse inside his life as a travel nurse.
Noah Erb is back to working the frontlines of the pandemic
Noah Erb's job as a travel nurse has him moving from state to state helping to fight COVID-19. As he was leaving Colorado to head to another destination, he reflected on his time fighting the deadly virus. "Peace out to another Covid ICU in another state..having the opportunity to help in these trying times is nothing short of an honor and I wouldn't change it for anything," he wrote. "Don't forget to Hold onto your loved ones and tell those around you you love them," he suggested, alluding to how quickly the virus can change the lives of anyone who comes in contact with it.
In general, though, he keeps his job as light as possible. His TikTok is speckled with videos of him dancing on his lunch breaks and goofing off in his scrubs. In one video, he told a dramatic story about how he might have met a "friend for life" in a gecko he found as he was walking through the halls of his assigned hospital.
It's not all work for Noah, either. Between his hospital selfies and silly videos, he enjoys sharing his hobbies and adventures with his friends and family, which have come in the form of snowboarding, hiking, and golfing. Noah seems as busy as can be, so that leads to the question: Will he ever return to a Bachelor Nation show?
Noah Erb is skeptical about returning to Bachelor Nation
After his time on The Bachelorette, fans were quick to cast Noah Erb as a member of Bachelor in Paradise 2021. The series took a season off due to the pandemic, but will likely return for its seventh season, per Variety. During the Dec. 9, 2020 episode of the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, Noah was asked by hosts Rachel Lindsay and Becca Kufrin if he would ever appear on the Bachelor spinoff show, and Noah was quite skeptical about it.
"I think Paradise would be wild," he said, per Showbiz CheatSheet. Ultimately, though, the Oklahoma native admitted he wasn't down for an appearance. "Part of it was because I felt like I was getting a poor portrayal on the show, honestly. And I was like, listen, if they're just going to make me look like some douchebag, there's no reason to do it twice. I don't need the publicity in my life. I was pretty happy with my life before the show. And I don't need all of that, I don't care for it."
It seems that Noah is already in love with his life and doesn't care for any more reality television drama.
