The Truth About The Bachelor's Marylynn Sienna

Drama was in full swing during The Bachelor season 25's second episode on Jan. 11, 2020.

Just days into production, "Queen" Victoria Larson was shamelessly vocal about her dislike toward the other women in the house and the bonds they were forming while also competing against each other for Matt James' heart.

While Victoria seemed to dislike anyone who showed any sort of camaraderie within the group, she specifically had a bone to pick with her roommate Marylynn Sienna. Victoria even decided she could not sleep in the same room as Marylynn after she was "rude" to her when she called out the rest of the women for being "fake" for expressing excitement for Bri Springs landing the first one-on-one date of the season, per People. Victoria brought her concerns to the front of the table when she decided to spill her uneasy feelings to Matt after he presented Marylynn with her favorite flower — an orchid — before the rose ceremony. Victoria called Marylynn "toxic" several times, but never gave solid examples of what she meant.

This of course concerned Matt, who then pulled Marylynn aside once again to air things out. Unfortunately for fans, they did not get to see how the drama played out and were left with a cliffhanger after contestant Sarah Trott nearly passed out during the rose ceremony. While fans are well aware of the self-proclaimed queen, there is less known about Marylynn. Keep reading to dig into the truth about The Bachelor's Marylynn Sienna.

Marylynn Sienna knows exactly what she is looking for

Marylynn Sienna is an event planner, and it seems like she lent that expertise to her love life, because she knows exactly the type of person she sees herself with for the long run. "Marylynn needs a man who is ready to commit and not afraid to wear his heart on his sleeves," her official Bachelor profile says. "She wants a stable man who will love her unconditionally, someone who is loyal to the core and who would be a rock for her when life throws the inevitable curve ball their way." She also needs her partner to share her dreams of changing the world in a positive way. Considering Matt James is a motivated man who is passionate about the charity he co-founded, he definitely checks off some of Marylynn's wants.

Lastly, her five-year plan consists of being married with at least two rescue dogs. Luckily for her, Matt has shared several photos of himself posing with dogs (including the famous Doug the Pug) on his Instagram feed, so it probably wouldn't be too hard to convince him to adopt. Plus, considering he is The Bachelor, he is definitely looking to settle down as well.

Despite her confidence in knowing exactly what she seeks in a partner, Marylynn still does have some reservations when it comes to finding love.

Marylynn Sienna has one fear when it comes to love

Just weeks before her Bachelor debut, Marylynn Sienna posted on her Instagram that she is "completely terrified of failing at love."

"All my mistakes become lessons. All my traumas rip me apart creating a mold for resilience. Resilience that acts like glue for the heart we break over and over through our fragile aging," she started. "I feel so deeply. I crave for so much. That doesn't stop me from being completely terrified of failing at love. Life gives us so many opportunities to fail so we know how to truly honor the wins. & in the end, all these heartbreaks led me to you," she wrote. So who is this "you" that she was led to? Is it possible she hinted at a happily ever after with Matt James? It is also possible that she met someone after her Bachelor experience. Fans will, of course, see Marylynn's destiny play out on television, but until then, she has them guessing.

Marylynn also admitted in another post that she shared her "most vulnerable side" and "deepest traumas" on The Bachelor. While she has some nerves when it comes to finding love, it seems that Marylynn is always willing to give it her all.

Environmentalism is important to Marylynn Sienna

If you take a glance at Marylynn Sienna's Instagram, you'll come across several photos of her enjoying time in nature or commenting on how awe-striking it is. In one post in particular, she elaborated on her love for Mother Nature by encouraging her followers to reflect on what they can do for the planet. "Anyone who knows me well knows how PASSIONATE I am about the environment and sustaining it as best we know how," she said along with a photo overlooking Yosemite Valley. "Every time I think of our beautiful planet, I'm consumed by guilt as we continue to trash it with single use plastic/waste. Without much regard or knowledge, we unsustainably deplete Earth of her very scarce natural resources. I've invested a lot of time into making my life greener, but there are always things I can do better," she added before asking her followers to think about how they can protect the environment. Her post also promoted a reusable silicone water bottle.

Marylynn's Bachelor profile also explains that she hopes to start "several companies focused around promoting environmental welfare and healthy lifestyle choices," which further identifies saving the planet as a movement close to her heart. The planet isn't the only thing she shed light upon, though; aside from the planet being treated kindly, the event planner also believes we as humans need to treat each other better.

Marylynn Sienna supports the Black Lives Matter movement

Marylynn Sienna has also been quite vocal about the Black Lives Matter movement on her Instagram page. "I wish we lived in a world with more compassion and love. I wish we could all collectively change. No more killing. No more oppression and judgment," she wrote in her first of three posts about the movement that reignited in America in 2020, referencing the lyrics to "There Must Be More To Life Than This" by Queen and Michael Jackson.

Furthermore, when she revealed that she participated in Matt James' season of The Bachelor, the canine lover addressed the history-making season. "This season is the first time the show features a black male lead in 25 shows! Can you believe it? It's about time!" she exclaimed. "I'm so proud to be a part of this very diverse cast and break down the boundaries necessary for more equality and acceptance. The Bachelor is one of the most watched shows of all time and it's imperative we start showing the viewers all types of love stories—not just white ones."

It seems like the 25th season of The Bachelor comes at an ideal time for Marylynn to make her reality television debut.
