In fact, a few of the women who will be vying for Matt's heart have already been rumored to be frontrunners and finalists on the reality show. According to Parade, one of those women is Serena Pitt, a publicist from Toronto, Canada. While it is rumored that she makes it pretty far, with this dramatic show that has no shortage of unexpected twists, you really never know. Nevertheless, watching a romance potentially unfold between Serena and this season's leading man will surely make for good entertainment and lots of fans are already rooting for her.

After the jump, we will take a deeper dive into Serena Pitt's history and learn the truth about this particular contestant.

Matt James might fall for contestant Serena Pitt

Serena Pitt will be crossing the border to compete for Matt James' affection as one of two Canadians to make the cast list for Season 25 of The Bachelor, and rumor has it she makes the top 6, per Parade. Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Serena is an ambitious publicist and a former dancer. She attended Wilfrid Laurier University and was on the school's competitive dance team, per PopSugar, so it seems pretty likely we will see her competitive side shine through this season. She is also very career-driven, working as a publicist for MacIntyre Communications and SuperFin Aquatics, reports Women's Health. Having a man who is equally as ambitious is very important to her, per her official ABC bio, and with Matt being a real estate broker, entrepreneur, and a community organization founder, this handsome bachelor certainly fits the bill.

Her bio describes her as a "logical thinker" and says she has always led a "disciplined lifestyle," which has prevented her from finding love in the past. Now, however, she is "throwing her rulebook out the window and is ready to find the man of her dreams."

Hopefully that man will be none other than Matt James. Tune in to the shows premiere on Monday, January 4, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC to watch the beginning of their love story unfold.
