The Thoughtful Gift Kim Kardashian Just Gave Khloe Kardashian
The Kardashian-Jenner family is known for gifting each other lavish and pricey gifts around the holiday season. But Kim Kardashian put even more thought into the Christmas gift she gave her sister Khloé Kardashian in 2020. Though the two didn't celebrate Christmas together this year, Kim made sure her presence was felt no matter the distance.
It was just a few days before Christmas when the KKW Beauty founder shared a family photo in Lake Tahoe. While Kylie Jenner and Rob Kardashian were noticeably absent, Kim, Khloé, Kourtney Kardashian, and Scott Disick posed alongside their momager Kris Jenner and her boyfriend Corey Gamble. But, on Christmas day, Khloé shared photos of her and her daughter True Thompson baking gingerbread cookies at a farm in Massachusetts, as captured by Boston.com.
The mother-daughter duo had been spending more time in the chilly city following Tristan Thompson's trade to the Celtics. The NBA trade came just off the heels of the couple's reconciliation after spending more than a year apart after Tristan was infamously caught kissing Kylie's former BFF Jordyn Woods in February 2019. After many months of doing damage control, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians cameras captured his attempts at getting back into the famous family's good graces, E! News reported.
With the two being back involved romantically, while also raising their daughter together, it was a "no brainer" for the Good American founder to spend Christmas with her NBA champion boyfriend, Hollywood Life noted.
Khloe Kardashian's Christmas present may have deeper meaning
Just a few days after Christmas 2020, Khloé Kardashian took to her Instagram Story to share the gorgeous and thoughtful gift her sister Kim Kardashian gifted her, In Touch Weekly reported. "Thank you, [Kim Kardashian]," the Revenge Body star captioned a video showing off the bejeweled basketball-shaped clutch purse that the SKIMS founder got for her. The glitzy gift (pictured above) appeared to be a sure nod toward Khloé's rekindled romance with the pro athlete.
Kim's NBA-inspired holiday gift came one week after Khloé sparked engagement rumors following a paparazzi shot that showed her wearing a massive diamond on her ring finger. However, sources quickly shut down the claims and confirmed that the Toronto native gave Khloé the dazzler as a promise and devotion toward their reconciliation. "Tristan surprised Khloé with a huge diamond," an insider told Life & Style. "It's more of a promise ring than anything else, and she absolutely loves it! He gave it to her while she was in Boston just before Christmas."
It's apparent that all of Tristan Thompson's damage control worked, and not only is he back in Khloé's good graces, but he's won Kim's approval as well.
