Teen Mom's Catelynn Lowell Reveals Future Family Plans
Catelynn Lowell and her husband, Tyler Baltierra first chronicled their journey on MTV's 16 and Pregnant and later on Teen Mom OG. The duo are parents to three daughters: Novalee and Vaeda, as well as Carly, who was adopted in 2009, according to Us Weekly.
Just because they have three healthy children does not mean pregnancy has always been easy for Catelynn. As Us Weekly noted, Catelynn suffered a miscarriage in 2017 and, sadly, she suffered another one in 2020. The Teen Mom star spoke with Champion Daily on Dec. 8, 2020, about the sorrowful experience she had to live through two times. "I know that when the time is right it will happen and everything in life has a plan and a destiny," Catelynn said. "Now we have two beautiful angels watching over us and our children." Part of Catelynn's motivation in opening up was to make sure that others who have gone through something similar don't feel alone. It's an admirable thing to do and something other celebrities have also done. Meghan Markle and Chrissy Teigen, for example, both spoke about their own tragic experiences with miscarriage.
Amid Catelynn's healing, she shared her hopes for her family's future plans. Keep on reading to find out what those goals are.
Catelynn Lowell would love to have one more baby
As Catelynn Lowell grapples with grief and loss after suffering a miscarriage in early December 2020, the Teen Mom star shared on social media what she hopes for her family's future. That dream includes one more child for her and her husband, Tyler Baltierra.
"I just want one more baby," Catelynn wrote on Facebook (via E! Online). "Is that to [sic] much to wish for/want? I pray that the lord will bless us with one more... if not I am absolutely grateful for the 3 beautiful, healthy little girls that we do have." Sharing a screenshot of that message on her Instagram stories, Catelynn added the text, "Infant loss/miscarriage grief is real. You are NOT alone and I know I'm not either...shuts [sic] hard sometimes." In mid-December 2020, Catelynn also jumped on Instagram to share photos of the tattoo she got in honor of the two children she lost through miscarriage, with the caption, "Getting this little cutie on me today for our two angels in heaven."
What a tough time for Catelynn, Tyler, and their family. Of course, we wish them all the best as they cherish their daughters and keep hope alive for the future of their family.
