How Tamera Mowry-Housley's Kids Feel About Sister, Sister
In 2020, a positive that came for TV lovers were the throwback sitcoms added to streaming platforms. Likely taking full advantage of a worldwide quarantine period, platforms like Hulu and Netflix brought back some old faves for viewers to enjoy. One sitcom that brought back some memories was Sister, Sister. The '90s sitcom featuring twins Tia Mowry-Hardrict and Tamera Mowry-Housley followed two long lost twin sisters who move in together with their single parents. Sister, Sister proved to be Tia and Tamera's big break, launching an acting career and eventual hosting jobs for both actresses.
With the return of Sister, Sister to television screens (or computer screens) à la Netflix, a new generation of kids and teens are able to see what put Tia and Tamera on the map, including their own children! In a December 2020 interview with E! News, Mowry-Housely admitted her kids do watch Sister, Sister. Keep scrolling to find out how they really feel about it.
Tamera Mowry-Housely's kids want to be actors
Tamera Mowry-Housley may be widely known for her roles in Twitches, Seventeen Again and, of course, Sister, Sister, but to her two kids, Aden and Ariah, she's just mom. In December 2020, the former The Real co-host opened up to E! News about her parenting style (she's the strict one) compared to her husband and how her kids feel about her former tv show Sister, Sister. "They love Sister, Sister," Mowry-Housley revealed. "Ariah watches it on her own. She loves it so much. Aden loves it so much that now both of them want to be actors. And I was like, 'oh Lord, oh Lord.'"
The actress mentioned her concern that her kids have both expressed interest in joining the family business in Hollywood. Mowry-Housley went on to say that between her and her sister, actress Tia Mowry-Hardrict, she would definitely be the stricter stage mom. Whether or not Mowry-Housley would ever seriously consider putting her kids on screen is up for debate. That being said, fans mustn't forget that the actress' eldest, Aden, technically make his TV debut on the set of her reality show Tia & Tamera considering the fact that Mowry-Housley's pregnancy was a notable storyline of the series.
