90 Day Fiance: Why Mike And Natalie's Relationship May Be Doomed
It may be over before it has even started, as 90 Day Fiancé's tumultuous couple, Mike Youngquist and Natalie Mordovtseva, are back for Season 8 of the hit TLC series, but it is not all merry for them this holiday season. The couple already had a rocky start during Season 7, including cheating allegations and a broken engagement. Now, fans will get to follow Ukrainian native Natalie's relocation to Sequim, Wash. on the K-1 visa as she adjusts to living with her fiancé.
For a show that capitalizes on cringe, this mismatched couple are poised to have another season of potentially relationship-ending doubts. A sneak peek for what is to come this season showed Natalie getting on a plane during the pandemic and potentially leaving Mike once again, per Us Weekly. As Natalie struggles to get over their past issues, will there even be a wedding after all? We have got some theories about the fate of this reality TV romance, so read on to find out.
Mike Youngquist revealed some red flags about Natalie Mordovtesva
Before Natalie even arrived to the U.S., she was already demanding Mike change his lifestyle for her. According to an episode recap from TV Insider, Natalie has relentlessly been encouraging Mike to convert to her religion. Mike, who famously believes in aliens, as reported by Screen Rant, has previously stated he hopes that Natalie can let him be his own man.
Natalie also asked Mike to force his Uncle Bojangles to move out of their family farm. She referred to Bo as a "stranger" before Mike stood his ground. "I think she has to be more open and accepting," he told the camera during the Season 8 premiere. Natalie was also incapable of saying she loved Mike when he visited her in Ukraine.
Fans last saw the couple together in-person during the Season 7 Tell All reunion, where Natalie revealed she believed Mike had cheated on her. She gave back the engagement ring, leading to speculation over whether or not their relationship was over. However, according to Newsweek, that still may be the case. Mike apparently asked Natalie to return to the Ukraine, citing the pressure of marrying in 90 days to be too much during a pandemic. Natalie called Mike a "monster" in a preview clip.
Yet SoapDirt claims there was a wedding announcement in Mike's hometown newspaper, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats. Did Natalie and Mike tied the knot before her departure? Regardless, it is clear this couple has a lot of work to do.
