The Celebrity Family That Over 29% Of People Would Want To Join Most
When it comes to Hollywood, plenty of stars turn show business into a family business. We've got the Skarsgårds, ranging from patriarch Stellan, to Bill who played Pennywise in the It franchise, to True Blood's Alexander. Or what about the Cyruses — Miley, Billy Ray, Noah, and more? You can't forget the Kardashians either. Momager Kris Jenner worked way too hard for her offspring to be left out of the spotlight. After all, Keeping Up With The Kardashians will have aired for 20 seasons by the time it wraps. (And there's even a Hulu show on the horizon!)
Of course, the Kardashian-Jenner krew isn't the only famous fam to document their lives on television for all to see. There are also the Duggars, who may actually be the direct opposite of the Keeping Up bunch. Their conservative, religious roots draw a sharp contrast to the more outspoken family that isn't shy to pose for Playboy or release a line of undergarments. And that's not to shame either side — they should definitely do what feels right to them, even if that means banning pants.
Then there are the Chrisleys, led by dad Todd, as well as the Osbourne family, headed by the one-of-a-kind Ozzy and his sharp-tongued wife Sharon. But as it turns out, when Nicki Swift surveyed 658 individuals in the U.S. about which celebrity family they'd most like to join, the winning answer isn't reality TV-related at all. Keep reading to see which famous family nearly 30% of participants picked.
The Osbournes snagged second place and beat out all the other reality TV families
Interestingly enough, the Kardashians didn't take the top spot in our survey of which famous family people would most like to join. They didn't even land the second slot! Instead, The Osbournes stars Ozzy, Sharon, Jack, and Kelly came in the number-two spot with 17.63% of the votes. The Kardashians trailed right behind that, however, with 15.35%.
We've got the Smiths — as in, Will, Jada, Jaden, and Willow — at 8.66%, and the Robertsons of Duck Dynasty at 6.84%. Meanwhile, Chrisley Knows Best's namesake family snagged 7.6% and the Duggars got 5.17%. Oh, and 9.12% of people picked "other" with fill-in-the-blank answers, including Tom Hanks' family (such a wholesome option), the Teigen-Legends (imagine the magical music and delicious cooking you'd get to experience regularly?!), and the Obamas (another solid choice, though more of a political family than a "celebrity" one).
Without further ado, our first-place famous family is no stranger to wearing crowns: The royal family earned the most votes in Nicki Swift's survey at 29.64%. Getting to hang with Kate Middleton, Queen Elizabeth II, and Meghan Markle doesn't sound too shabby. And yes, that means you'd get to bond with Prince William and Prince Harry, too. You'd also get to spend time with those adorable grandbabies — George, Charlotte, Louis, and Archie. Okay, now we totally understand why the royals are the top choice.
