This Former Bachelor Contestant Might Be Returning For Matt James' Season
Matt James is the newest star of The Bachelor, and his journey will begin on Jan. 4, 2021. Matt breaks new ground in the 25th season of The Bachelor as the franchise's first Black male lead. Matt is also the only Bachelor in 13 years who did not previously appear on The Bachelorette.
According to Bachelor Nation expert Reality Steve, there's a surprise in store for Matt because a contestant from Colton Underwood's season of The Bachelor will be one of the ladies to compete for Matt's heart! It's worth noting that rejected contestants who return to the franchise have had mixed results. Chris Bukowski was one of the final contestants on Season 8 of The Bachelorette, but he didn't have any luck when he tried to join the Season 10 group of hopefuls. Nick Viall returned for Season 11 of The Bachelorette after finishing as the runner-up on Season 10, and, during Season 20 of The Bachelor, two contestants from the previous season Becca Tilley and Amber James, both returned and unsuccessfully competed (via the Heavy).

Heather Martin is the former contestant who will reportedly try to win Matt James' heart on The Bachelor. According to Reality Steve, Heather from Colton Underwood's season of The Bachelor is showing up to give love another try.
You might remember Heather as the contestant that "never been kissed". Heather had her first kiss of her on camera with Colton, the virgin Bachelor. Despite her lack of kissing experience, Heather made it all the way to the final six contestants before leaving the show before the hometown visits were decided. Since her time on Season 23 of The Bachelor, Heather remained friends with Hannah Brown. In case you've been living under a rock, Hannah went on to become The Bachelorette after Colton's season, and she's a close friend of the newest Bachelor.
Spoiler alert: According to Reality Steve, it doesn't work out between Matt and Hannah, as he sends her home right away. Of course, fans should take the report with a grain of salt — the pre-season rumors have been incorrect before. TBD!
