The Truth About Pauly D's Relationship With Nikki Hall
Famous singleton Pauly D has finally settled down with Double Shot at Love contestant-turned-girlfriend Nikki Hall. The Jersey Shore star couldn't commit to Nikki following the first season of his MTV dating show, and they hit a rough spot after their argument on the reunion. But eventually, they came back together in Las Vegas for Season 2 to give their romance another try. Since then, they seem to be going strong, especially after quarantining together amid the coronavirus pandemic.
"Well, I said on the show that the only way to see if it would actually work is to give it a shot, so we're giving it a shot!" Pauly said on the show's reunion special before Nikki joined him on camera, per People. "We gave it a real shot," Nikki added. "We're in a healthy bubble, we're happy, we've been getting along great."
Although the couple didn't know what to expect when they joined each other in Las Vegas, they both agreed they made the right decision to be in each other's company once again. "I didn't even know if she would actually come," Pauly shared. "Then when she came, she did that 360 [degree] turn when she saw me, and I was like, 'Alright, so that's how this is going to go.' But as the days progressed, as you can see in those clips from the show, we kind of worked through it."

Quarantine brought Pauly D and Nikki Hall together
Despite reconciling on Season 2 of Double Shot at Love, Pauly D and Nikki Hall's romance was put to the test when the DJ hit the road for his tour. With distance between them, Pauly and Nikki remained in contact. "She would come visit me a lot and it was back and forth," Pauly explained on the reunion special, per People. "The connection that we had was undeniable, so we were like, 'Let's just give this a real shot.' And that's what we're doing now."
The couple went from one extreme to the next and quarantined together amid the pandemic, going from long-distance to cohabiting. "Quarantine helps a lot, because it's a real test on a relationship when you're in one place with somebody," Nikki added. "I think most people would assume, 'They're toxic, they would never make it,' but we've been doing great." Echoing Nikki's remarks, Pauly shared, "Now we get to spend real time with each other, getting to know each other on a different level all together. If you can live with someone, that's most of the battle right there."
Pauly called the pair a "perfect match" and it seems like his Jersey Shore co-stars agree. Jenny "JWoww" Farley said Nikki is "incredible," while Deena Cortese exclaimed, "I love Nikki! Nikki and Pauly are adorable," per Page Six. Nikki and Pauly even spent Thanksgiving 2020 together and the DJ posted photos to his Instagram Story of Nikki carving the turkey. Looks like they're going strong!
