The Truth About Michael B. Jordan And Lori Harvey's Relationship
Michael B. Jordan may be the hottest eligible bachelor in Hollywood. In fact, the Black Panther actor was named People's 2020 Sexiest Man Alive, thanks to his adorable smile and ripped physique, as seen in Creed and Creed 2. Aside from keeping up with his movies, there's one question fans always want answered about Jordan: Who is he dating? In a mid-November 2020 interview with People, the actor did claim he was single, but that title may have changed.
"Having people who are married around me, a running theme is 'You know when you know.' And it's one of the most frustrating things to hear as somebody who's single," Jordan said to the outlet. "I kind of thought I knew four or five times, and that didn't really work out too well for me."
The movie star continued, describing who exactly he's looking for in a wife. "A sense of humor, true understanding, because [an actor's] life is not conducive to a relationship—it's really not," Jordan told People. "Somebody that's nurturing. I've got a list. That's probably why my a** is still single, but yeah, it's a list."
So, which Hollywood socialite may fit the list? Celebrity and model Lori Harvey.
Lori Harvey and Michael B. Jordan were spotted spending the holidays together
Just Mercy actor Michael B. Jordan opened up to People in his Sexiest Man Alive cover story about what he finds attractive in women physically. "It's like lips, teeth, mouth. I think I've paid more attention to eyes as of late, with these masks," the actor said. "I love a woman's hips, thighs. Hands and feet. And what order you go, that's a totally different question."
With this in mind, it makes sense why the actor has seemingly gravitated toward model Lori Harvey. According to TMZ, the two, who are rumored to be dating, were seen hopping off a private flight from Los Angeles to Atlanta just before the 2020 Thanksgiving holiday. In the photos, Jordan and Harvey, who are 10 years apart in age, were seen in what looked to be matching sweatsuits. The pair was spotted again (above), arriving in Utah just ahead of New Year's on Dec. 30, 2020.
Fans of the actor and model raved about the bittersweet notion that the two are an item, with many noting Harvey's past dating history.
Here's a look at Lori Harvey's dating history
Model Lori Harvey has gained fame over the years as the daughter of talk-show host and comedian Steve Harvey. The young socialite has garnered more than 2 million followers on Instagram, thanks in part to her modeling career. Yet, even with Harvey's modeling accomplishments, her dating life seems to always be the main topic of conversation when it comes to buzz surrounding this celebrity. The young star was previously engaged to soccer player Memphis Depay in 2017, but the couple reportedly broke it off the same year.
A few years later, the model was rumored to be dating Sean "Diddy" Combs in the summer of 2019, which sparked lots of controversy, due to previous reports that the model had dated Diddy's son Justin Combs, according to E! News. Harvey then dated rapper Future, on and off, from 2019 to summer of 2020.
With Michael B. Jordan potentially being Harvey's new boyfriend, it's clear the young socialite is enjoying dating in Hollywood in her 20s... and we don't blame her.
Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey went IG official
Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey shut down all murmurs regarding their holiday travels when they decided to take their relationship public. After a New Year's baecation in Utah, the pair became Instagram official in January 2020 by posting identical pictures to their feeds. Not much was said in the captions, but if a picture is worth a thousand words, this selection of photos was worth way more than that, and it sent the internet into a frenzy.
The series of photos showed the pair dressed to the nines, under dim lighting, and looking oh-so-sexy in love. Per People, the public display marked the first time Jordan and Harvey acknowledged their relationship, and hearts all over the world could be heard breaking as MBJ fans found out their beau was officially off the market. Of course the pseudo announcement wasn't made with any ole photos. On his posts, Jordan tagged Harvey, along with photographer Leo Volcy, indicating the pair enlisted the help of a pro to capture the pics.
The, uh, eccentric nicknames Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey have for each other
Once Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey decided to give a peak into their relationship, there was no stopping them. Though they had remained mum after announcing their relationship to the world, they once again broke the internet when Harvey's birthday posts exposed their nicknames for each other.
The fashion model released some pictures of herself messing around with cake in commemoration of her 24th trip around the sun. The images were so smoldering hot, Jordan couldn't help but comment and also drop the interesting pet name he gave her. "Gimme!! Sheeesh!! Happy Birthday Turtle!!" the Fahrenheit 451 actor exclaimed in the comments. That wasn't enough though. Not wanting to keep her man candy hanging, the birthday girl responded, dopping the nickname she gave the Creed star. "Thank you nugget," Harvey replied. The nicknames may be off kilter, but fans of the pair ate the entire exchange all up.
Can't stop, won't stop globe trotting
It seems Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey share a serious case of wanderlust. Many of their social media posts have shown off the several trips they've taken together. At the end of January 2021, Jordan and Harvey jetted to yet another exotic location. This time around, the pair landed on a yacht in St. Barts. They were snapped by the paparazzi being playful on the water: jet skiing, paddle boarding and play fighting.
Though those paparazzi pics were sizzling hot, they were nothing compared to the pics Jordan and Harvey took of each other and then later on posted on Instagram (of course). Harvey's pics were simple and laid back, showing the 24-year-old perched and relaxing aboard the mega yacht. Jordan's pics on the other hand, showcased why his fans call him Michael "Bae" Jordan as the actor was captured with his shirt off, skin glistening under the beaming sun. Harvey herself was practically speechless, commenting under one particularly steamy snap, "Mm mmm mmmmm" with a drooling and tongue emoji. Honestly, same sis.
Steve Harvey's hot take on Michael B. Jordan
With the Black Panther star constantly making headlines with his daughter, Steve Harvey finally had to comment on their relationship. During an episode of his podcast, The Steve Harvey Morning Show, Steve revealed that even though he was fond of Michael B. Jordan, he, like any other dad out there, was keeping a close eye on the movie star.
"I like this one. I still got my eye on him," the renowned king of comedy stated. "I mean I like him, but like I say to all of 'em, 'I might like you, I might approve of you, but I got a thumb-size section of my heart filled with nothing but pure hatred for your a**. Just in case I need it. Like right now? Nice guy. But I got this little section partner, where all I gotta do is click a switch and I can hate your a**." As of this writing, it doesn't seem like Jordan has responded, but from the sound of things, the Sexiest Man Alive better tread lightly.
Lori Harvey's birthday tribute
In addition to traveling, it looks like the couple also loves going all out for each other's birthdays. As shown above, Michael B. Jordan was present for Lori Harvey's 24th birthday party (above), which he also noted on Instagram on Jan. 13, 2021 with the caption, "10:10 HBD" along with a turtle emoji. Awe!
For his birthday on Feb. 9, 2021, Harvey basically threw a Jordan parade on her Instagram Stories, and honestly who wouldn't? The model posted a series of never-before-seen pics and videos from their various travels. "It's my baby's birthday" she wrote on her first Story, before calling him her "favorite headache," "big baby," "bestfriend," and "sweet, stubborn, crazy a** Aquarius" in subsequent posts (via People).
The pictures showed the couple in ski gear, smoking cigars, and dressed up for dinner. Harvey also posted a video of Jordan taken at his birthday dinner. The actor responded to the shower of love by reposting one of the Stories and writing, "Thank you my love." No word on what Harvey got her man for his special day, but we'll keep an eye out.
The Valentine's Day date heard around the world
Proving that he is no layman and continuing to break hearts all over the world, Michael B. Jordan had fans side-eyeing their boyfriends on Valentine's Day. He showed that V-Day slaps different when you're dating a movie star/budding mogul by first gifting Lori Harvey with stocks in Hermès. But that wasn't enough.
For their dinner date, Jordan rented out an aquarium (shown above) for the two of them to dine in, and had the space decorated with mounds of rose petals and candles. "My baby rented out the aquarium so we could do a private tour and see the turtles..." Harvey swooned on her since-expired Instagram Stories (via People). Oh, but that wasn't even close to the end. Jordan topped off the aquarium rental by having the Japanese luxury restaurant Nobu cater their meal. It seems the pair wound down the night in a hotel room that was packed with more flowers and candles. Must be nice.
Michael B. Jordan dropped the 'L' word on Lori Harvey
While he has told his model girlfriend that he loves her in the comment section of her pictures and in his Instagram Stories, Michael B. Jordan made it stick when he declared his love for the 24-year-old under a pair of photos he posted to his own timeline. The pics seem like they were snapped while the pair had gone out for one of their fancy dates. They were both dressed to the nines (per usual) — with Harvey in a fitted silver and black mirror ball dress, while Jordan donned a tailored-to-perfection all-black ensemble. "I love you baby," the Creed actor wrote under the flick. "I love youuuuuu," Harvey exclaimed in the comments.
So there you have it ladies, if you thought the pair would split sometime soon and there'd be an opening for you, reconsider because the Hollywood hunk is clearly smitten with his Turtle.
