Is Sarah Jessica Parker Feuding With The Creator Of Divorce?
Sarah Jessica Parker allegedly had a "falling out" with Sharon Horgan, the creator of her new HBO series Divorce, sources told Page Six on Oct. 19, 2016.
The feud was allegedly over "creative differences." "There was an argument," a source said. "Multiple people saw [it] ... It was a big deal on set."
Whatever may or may not have happened, sources went on to claim that the two ladies have been "playing nice" during the show's promotional tour, which included a joint stop at a Television Critics Association panel in July and the show's premiere in October.
Reps for both Parker and Horgan, meanwhile, flat-out denied the feud. "Sharon is, always has been, and will continue to be committed to her role on the show," a rep for Horgan told Page Six. "Sharon is very proud of the project and has the utmost respect and admiration for everyone involved in it, including Sarah Jessica Parker. This has not and will not change."
Added a rep for Parker: "There was absolutely no argument on set. Never happened."
Parker was long rumored to have feuded with co-star Kim Cattrall throughout the filming of the HBO comedy Sex and the City and its subsequent two movies.
Divorce premiered Oct. 9, 2016 on HBO to nearly one million viewers.
