Fans think Demi Lovato's sexy new look might be a revenge haircut
Once Demi Lovato revealed her brand new look, her friends and fans were awestruck. "DEMI! This chop!!! Gorg!," Ashley Graham commented on Instagram, while the queen of the bob herself, Lisa Rinna, gave her approval, writing, "SHORT HAIR DON'T CARE." While some fans thought Miley Cyrus' legendary chop was her inspiration, others got the impression that her big reveal was a bit of nod to the fact that she broke off her engagement to fiancé Max Ehrich in September 2020 following a whirlwind romance. "New cut = new start," one user wrote. "There is something about changing your hair so drastically that allows you to own yourself in a way you never thought!" Amber Maynard Bolt — who Lovato credited with her cut and color – wrote in an Instagram post.
In addition to her empowering new look, Lovato paid homage to her breakup while hosting the People's Choice Awards on Nov. 15, 2020. She poked fun at herself for getting "unengaged" and called 2020, "the longest three years of [her] life." Well, with the new look it seems she's ending her three-year long year on a high note.
