The Tragic Death Of Bobby Brown's Son Bobby
Bobby Brown's 28-year-old son, Bobby Brown Jr., was found dead in his home on Nov. 18, 2020, per TMZ. The cause of death is still under investigation, per the outlet, but the authorities do not believe there was any foul play involved. Bobby Brown had not yet paid tribute to his son at the time of writing, but Landon Brown, Bobby Jr.'s brother, did acknowledge his death on Instagram. He wrote, "I love you forever King," alongside a picture of Bobby Jr. posing with his hands together in prayer.
The Brown family has suffered a lot of loss over the past few years. Brown's daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, died in 2015 after she was found unconscious in her bathtub in Georgia. According to People, she reportedly had cocaine and alcohol in her system at the time and spent six months in a coma before her death. Brown paid tribute to his 22-year-old daughter then, writing, "There's no way to explain how I feel I miss you so much little girl. You stay in my heart on my mind every day daddy loves you." Bobbi Kristina's ex-boyfriend, Nick Gordon, died in January 2020, and her mother, Whitney Houston, passed away in 2012.
Bobby Brown has suffered many losses
Although Bobby Brown did not immediately respond to his son Bobby Jr.'s death, he has been very vocal about the passing of his daughter, Bobbi Kristina. In 2018, he announced that he was going to build a domestic violence shelter in her honor called the Bobbi Kristina Serenity House in Georgia. At the time, he said, via the Atlanta Journal-Constituion, "Our family lives with the pain every day of losing my beautiful daughter, Bobbi Kristina, to domestic violence. She loved Atlanta and in her memory we are proud to announce the formation of the Bobbi Kristina Serenity House. Our initial goal is to help educate women and men of all ages, by creating a 24-hour crisis intervention line and emergency transitional shelter."
The singer will likely speak on his son's death, though, as Bobby Jr. was a major part of his life, having appeared on the Bravo reality show, Being Bobby Brown, with him when he was only 13 years old. Bobby Jr. is one of Bobby Brown's seven kids. He also leaves behind his mom, Kim Ward, whom Bobby Brown dated before marrying Whitney Houston.
