90 Day Fiance: Who Are Andrew And Amira?
Season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé is set to premier on Dec. 6, 2020 to much anticipation, and for good reasons. The TLC franchise has branched out to include several spin-off shows, including 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After and 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. There's even a spin-off featuring the couple Annie Suwan and David Toborowsky that allows viewers to watch them cook and chit chat. What a nice way to unwind, right? The TLC franchise has brought heartwarming love, tragic breakups, its fair share of scandals, and a whole lot of uncomfortable moments. Isn't that a major reason why we love the franchise so much?
According to People, Season 8 will feature some familiar faces. Tarik Myers is back and meets Hazel Cagalitan at the airport, after her flight from the Philippines. Then there's more drama with Mike Youngquist and Natalie Mordovtseva involving visa issues. But there are also new faces debuting on the show this season, and we are so excited to get to know these couples!
One duo we're particularly excited about is a new duo identified as Andrew and Amira. Here's their story.
Andrew and Amira get engaged in Las Vegas
Andrew and Amira, a new couple joining Season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé, have an incredible story that sounds like it's chock full of drama and romance. In a press release issued by TLC, we've learned that Andrew hails from Roseville, Calif., and Amira is French. Andrew reportedly created an online dating profile after reaching the conclusion that he was ready to settle down and hopefully start a family. He connected with several women online and almost bypassed the brief message from Amira, but after his response, they both "felt an instant connection."
Andrew and Amira met up in Las Vegas for a romantic week, and Andrew proposed! The couple secured a K-1 Visa, and then Amira temporarily returned to France, but according to CinemaBlend, the coronavirus pandemic threw their plans into chaos. It became a huge struggle for Amira to travel back to the United States before the visa expired. Sounds intense, right?
We can't wait to see how this all shakes out when the new season kicks off in December.
