The Truth About Christian Siriano's Relationship
When he's not busy styling celebs for the red carpet and getting standing ovations at Fashion Week, designer Christian Siriano is cuddled up at home with his boyfriend Kyle Smith. The Project Runway Season 4 winner-turned-Tim Gunn replacement, started dating Smith in the summer of 2018. They went public with their romance just four weeks after Siriano divorced his husband of two years, Brad Walsh. The former couple dated for a total of 11 years before calling it quits in June 2018, Heavy reported.
By September of that year, Smith and Siriano made their relationship Instagram official with coupled-up photos at TAO Downtown in NYC. In March 2019, Siriano started opening up about his newfound love during interviews. "It's great," Siriano told Us Weekly at the time. "You know, just, like, fun. Fun love." He went on to share what his favorite date nights with Smith are when they're together "doing nothing." "That's the best thing," he explained. "Just staying on the couch, watching TV."
Here's what else you need to know about Siriano's relationship.
Christian Siriano and Kyle Smith are inseperable
After ending his decade-long relationship with Brad Walsh, Christian Siriano was still ready for love, but not another marriage. When asked if he saw wedding bells in his future with Kyle Smith, the Project Runway mentor declared to Us Weekly in March 2019, "Oh, my God, not even thinking about it." But, the couple is inseparable. Smith is often at Siriano's side while he manages his international brand, Heavy reported. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Smith has shared photos of Siriano joining him when he goes home for the holidays.
While speaking on his digital talk show So Siriano in October 2020, the Bravo star shared how he and Smith were spending their quarantine together. "I've watched everything," he spilled. "If Kyle asks me to watch one more Hilary Duff movie, I'm not going to make it." In addition to marathoning the entire 10 episodes of Netflix's Emily in Paris, Siriano admitted that the couple has "nothing to watch." Stars, they're just like us!
