What Tyler Cameron Really Thinks About Clare Crawley And Dale Moss
Former reality TV heartthrob Tyler Cameron had many feelings about Clare Crawley and Dale Moss's situation on The Bachelorette. Tyler spilled his take on Season 16 of The Bachelorette in an interview with E! Online: "It's just a disaster. You know what I mean? It's nothing about Clare. It's a mess, you know?" Tyler isn't the only one from Bachelor Nation to be critical of the unusual Bachelorette season; even Chris Harrison has thrown shade at the Clare and Dale Moss situation.
As the runner-up during Hannah Brown's season, Tyler understands what it's like to be in the spotlight. He pointed out to E! that how Clare appears on The Bachelorette might be different than who she is in real life: "I don't know Clare as a person so I don't know who she is on or off camera, you know?" Tyler's chat about Clare wasn't all negative, though. He also said, "She has what she wants, she knows what she wants. She's very decisive." Tyler Cameron thinks Matt James 'dodged a bullet'
Tyler Cameron's best friend Matt James is the next star of The Bachelor, but he was originally slated to appear as a contestant on Clare Crawley's season of The Bachelorette. Tyler and Matt are not only best friends, they are also roommates in New York City and co-founded a nonprofit together. Matt is a former NFL player who works for real estate firm CBRE.
In his E! Online confession, Tyler made it clear he's happy Matt didn't go on Season 16 of The Bachelorette after all. He said, "That boy dodged a bullet. That boy is on his own. Just to be able to jump and skip and be the Bachelor... so I am very happy he's not there." On the other hand, he said he would've "loved a showdown of Matt and Clare."
COVID-19 has impacted the Bachelor franchise, but on Nov. 2, 2020, Chris Harrison gave Entertainment Tonight an update about Matt's season of The Bachelor. The reality franchise host told ET they are taping Matt's season: "It's the blueprint and the formula we used to shoot Clare's season, and is working out perfectly. I can tell you it's working, it's successful and — knock on wood — it'll continue to be successful."
