The Only Way Kris Jenner Will Join Dancing With The Stars
With the end of Keeping Up with the Kardashians on the horizon, fans are wondering how they'll get their weekly dose of the Kardashians. Rumors swirled that matriarch of the Kardashian empire Kris Jenner was considering joining the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Although Jenner quickly squashed the idea, while remaining open to occasional appearances, there's one reality competition show that is eyeing the reality star for a possible season: Dancing with the Stars.
Jenner would not be the first of the Kardashians to join the ABC competition show. Kim Kardashian West appeared on DWTS in 2008. The SKIMS owner didn't make it far into Season 7, unlike her famous brother Rob Kardashian who came in second place just three years later.
"Rob had such a great experience though, right?" said Rob's former DWTS professional partner Cheryl Burke, speaking to Kris Jenner on her podcast Pretty Messed Up. "In the beginning he was like, cold feet, cold feet ... He should have won."
Burke pushed Jenner on what it would take to get her in a future season. The answer was quite demanding.
Kris Jenner already tried to join a dance group. It didn't go well.
Reality star Kris Jenner told Dancing with the Stars professional Cheryl Burke the only way she would join the competition show is if she got a head start.
In an interview on Burke's podcast Pretty Messed Up, Jenner revealed she would need a pretty hefty pre-season of practice before she would ever agree to joining DWTS. "You know what I would love is if you and I could practice for about three years, get all the dances down and then we could just roll out there," said the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, adding, "Roll out all the dances and then I'm in."
The mama Kardashian said she had "great respect" for the past season alums of Dancing with the Stars including her two children Kim Kardashian West and Rob Kardashian.
Superfans of KUWTK may remember Jenner's attempt to join the L.A. Sparks 'Ole Skool' Dance Crew (above). The reality star had commented on her lack of dancing experience and rhythm in the Season 2 episode of KUWTK, so we're thinking Jenner might not want to revisit the embarrassment of being told she needs a little bit more practice.
