Here's What We Know About RHOD Star LeeAnne Locken's Marriage
Former The Real Housewives of Dallas star LeeAnne Locken sure pulled out all the stops for her extravagant fairytale wedding to Rich Emberlin. Bravo cameras rolled as Locken and Emberlin said "I do" at their April 2019 celebration — a lavish event that cost $4.5 million, according to People. Locken looked stunning in her $3 million worth of jewels and custom wedding gown while Emberlin donned a classic black tux and $30,000 worth of accessories. "I know what Cinderella felt like," Locken told the outlet. "The whole wedding was perfect. It couldn't have been better."
The reality TV star was with the retired Dallas police officer for ten years before they finally tying the knot. The two met after Emberlin sent Locken a friend request on Facebook. However, she wasn't instantly impressed. "His profile pic, he really had major salt, less pepper [hair]," LeeAnne described while on Bravo's The Daily Dish. "And so I was like, 'I don't want to date another old man,' because I had just finished dating an old man who was really boring and no fun.
It was love at first date for LeeAnne Locken
LeeAnne Locken revealed how she and Rich Emberlin fell in love on their first date. "I opened the door, and that was it. I mean, history," she told The Daily Dish. The Real Housewives alum recalled Rich telling her he wanted a committed relationship so soon. "That night, I'll never forget the look on his face when he said, 'Don't share,'" LeeAnne explained. "I was like, 'OK, I'm gonna need to be literal. What's the list? What are we talking about? Don't hold hands with people, don't go on dates with other people, don't have sex with other people? What are we looking at?'" Rich said all of the above. "And I was like, 'Oooooh, OK, I'm yours,'" she recalled. "And I was in love, and that was it. We've never been apart since."
The couple partied hard and enjoyed themselves at their wedding — and it sounds like they tuckered themselves out. LeeAnne revealed to Us Weekly that she was so tired after their nuptials, she fell asleep while she and her new husband were in the middle of consummating their marriage.
The celebrating didn't stop after the Real Housewives star's pricy wedding. In February 2020, LeeAnne shared the very special gift Rich gave her for Valentine's Day. "Our first Valentine's as a married couple," she wrote alongside photos of her new Cartier Love bracelet. "Btw- he nailed the [gift]."
