The Untold Truth Of Christina And Ant Anstead's Divorce
Christina Anstead officially filed for divorce from Ant Anstead, in news reported by TMZ on Nov. 3, 2020. The HGTV star made headlines back in September when she announced on Instagram that she was separating from Ant after less than two years of marriage.
According to TMZ, there were no major ruptures or scandals involved in Christina and Ant's separation but simply the fact that they had grown apart. Christina filed for divorce in a court located in Orange County, Calif., according to Page Six.
Christina and Ant share one child, a son named Hudson. Christina has two children, Taylor and Brayden, with her former husband and Flip or Flop co-star, Tarek El Moussa, per Page Six. Ant also has two children from a former marriage: Amelie and Archie.

Christina recuperates from her split in a unique way
Christina Anstead decided to regroup after her split from Ant Anstead by dipping into a little luxury. Following news of her split. Christina shared on Instagram that she bought a yacht called "Aftermath" according to Page Six.
While the photo has since been deleted, Christina's aptly-named purchase mirrors what her former husband, Tarek El Moussa, did following their split in 2017. According to People, Tarek rechristened his yacht. "It used to be called 'Flip or Flop.' I recently changed it to 'Bad Decisions' because apparently, I've made a couple," Tarek said.
Ant, who is a mechanic by trade, has also had some major shifts since his and Christina's split. According to a later publication by People, Ant is facing a career shift. He announced that he would be leaving the cast of Wheelers Dealers as the show was moving back to the United Kingdom.
Ant shared the news on Instagram and he spoke with co-star Mike Brewer about his departure from the show. Brewer joked: "People are gonna say 'Brewer can't hold onto these mechanics' and all this nonsense,'" via People.
"People say that about me and my wives!" Ant replied. Ouch!
Ant took a different approach following his split from Christina and opted for a 5-week program called "Breakup Recovery Recipe," according to ET Online. While it's different from Christina's approach, everyone regroups in different ways!
