The Untold Truth Of Lindsey Pelas
According to her personal website bio, Lindsey Pelas is a "social media superstar." And she's not wrong — Pelas has 8.8 million followers on Instagram and 1.2 million Twitter followers. The influencer gained popularity thanks to her appearances in Playboy, Maxim, and GQ, among other publications. She has parlayed her social media success into a hosting career with her own podcast called Eyes Up Here, which has a mission to "end social stereotyping one topic at a time." According to her website, Pelas is "inspired by a life of being misunderstood, this modern-day bombshell is guaranteed to have you seeing past the bikini and why we can all use a little Eyes Up Here."
Before getting into the modeling game, Pelas earned a history degree from Louisiana State University, which also left her with a lot of school pride. In a 2016 interview with TMZ Sports, she defended the university's decision to have a live tiger as a mascot, despite the growing backlash. Pelas explained, "They've only had tigers that were like bred in captivity already. So, they only rescued tigers from unfortunate conditions. So, they've kind of provided these amazing health care opportunities." Even so, she acknowledged that keeping animals in captivity is "terrible."
In addition to addressing public news stories about her alma mater, Pelas makes a point to visit the school whenever she's back in Louisiana. Her bio states that she moved to Los Angeles in 2015 to start her modeling career, which definitely worked out for her.
