What Does 90 Day Fiance's Deavan Clegg Do For Money?
90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Deavan Clegg has continued to make headlines, from her move to South Korea to be with then-husband, Jihoon Lee, to her split from him after the birth of their son, Taeyang.
According to In Touch Weekly, Deavan, who has a daughter named Drascilla from a previous relationship, caused even more waves when fans caught glimpses of a new man in her life on social media. Evidence of a new boyfriend came only two days after Jihoon confirmed news of their breakup on an Instagram Live on Aug. 24, 2020.
While Deavan did move from her native Utah to South Korea to be with Jihoon, their relationship has been a tumultuous one. A major source of strife between the couple was money, as Deavan expressed worry that Jihoon didn't have enough money to support his new family, according to ScreenRant.
Deavan claimed that she spent close to $50,000 on Jihoon and when fans called her out on this on Reddit, she responded on the site with a breakdown of what she paid for. "Worked 60 hours a week," she said, per Showbiz CheatSheet. "Paid for Vegas. Paid for travel back and forth. Paid for hospital bills. Paid for food for him [Jihoon], Paid for housing/drinks – $50000."
With such huge expenses covered exclusively by Deavan, fans are dying to know how she makes money. Here's the answer.
Deavan Clegg said she worked overtime while pregnant
After Deavan Clegg gave a list of what she's spent on her estranged husband Jihoon Lee, fans got curious how she makes her money. Deavan, who appears to be both active and responsive on social media, gave fans an explanation via Instagram Stories, according to ScreenRant.
Deavan explained that at the time, she worked a full-time job, reportedly at an online furniture company. "I pulled 16 hour shifts a day. This is 100% true," she wrote. She added that during her pregnancy, she had to work mandatory overtime during the holidays and that she used her vacation time to film 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. "I've always had a full-time job, I don't like not working," she wrote, per ScreenRant.
Fans on Reddit claim that Deavan worked at the call center for the company Overstock.com, per ScreenRant. But Deavan also works as a model, according to Distractify, and she even got some work done to boost her marketability in the world of modeling.
But that isn't all. According to ScreenRant, it's likely that Deavan made around "$1,000 to $1,500 per episode" on TLC. Individuals on 90 Day Fiancé can also make "$2,500 for a tell-all" with a grand total of "up to $14,500 for 12 episodes." So it's possible that this is how Deavan had that kind of money saved up.
