Jimin Is Unrecognizable Compared To His First Billboard Music Awards
BTS has become one of the biggest K-pop groups in the world — if not the biggest — and their influence in the U.S. is no exception. The group first performed in America in 2014, according to Billboard. Since then, the seven-member boy band has only grown in popularity. As K-pop continues to boom, each member of BTS — RM, Jimin, Suga, J-Hope, Jin, V, and Jungkook — also has a fanbase that has grown astronomically over the years. Fans of the band's lead vocalist, Jimin, have paid extremely close attention to the singer's every move (including, of course, his amazing dance moves).
BTS fans, also known as Army, always notice any small and major change Jimin makes in his appearance. Which is why it makes sense that the Jimin Army would immediately raise an eyebrow at the artist's new look at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards.

Jimin of BTS is all grown up
All of the BTS members have changed over the years (you know, people grow up). However, Jimin has definitely made some cosmetic upgrades since the group's first Billboard Music Awards in 2017 — and fans are taking notice. One Twitter user compared the star's looks from his first BBMAs to the 2020 show. At BTS' first appearance, Jimin matched his bandmates with jet black hair and a pale aesthetic.
However, the "Promise" singer then went from cotton candy pink to a dirty blonde. As of 2020, Jimin has also been switching up his look by wearing brightly colored contacts that are very different from his natural brown eye color.
Fans raved about the new look on Twitter. One user commented, "he gets prettier and prettier. Another added, "he's so handsome every year," followed by a few crying emojis.
Will Jimin's 2020 BBMAs look stick around for long? Guess we'll all have to keep watching!
