Chrishell Stause's Dancing With The Stars Performance Had Fans Talking
Chrishell Stause had a real-life Cinderella moment on Dancing with the Stars. The Selling Sunset star danced the waltz to "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes" in honor of the night's Disney theme, and everything about the performance made fans swoon. Especially the fake kiss between Chrishell and her partner, Gleb Savchenko. Ooh la la!
Even judges of the show were blown away by the performance, with the ever-so-animated Bruno Tonioli commenting afterward that Chrishell was the "belle of the ball" and that she "really look[ed] like the ultimate Disney princess." The magical dance received a 22 out of 30, which is the couple's highest score to date. Chrishell and Gleb began Season 29 a little on the rough side with their first performance, a tango, only scoring a 13 out of 30.
Fans of Chrishell were definitely excited to see the high scores and took to Twitter to support the soap opera actress turned reality star. So, why did this performance cause such a stir? Turns out Chrishell's real life is also a very Cinderella-like story.
Chrishell Stause is reality TV's very own Cinderella
Chrishell Stause has gone through a lot of hardships in her life. Along with her 2019 shocking split to This is Us star, Justin Hartley, the Selling Sunset star also had quite a tough upbringing. Before she came to the Oppenheim Group and even before her soap opera roles on The Young and The Restless, Chrishell battled with homelessness.
The Kentucky native has opened up many times about her experience being homeless while growing up, and so last night's Dancing with the Stars performance was the perfect way to show everyone just how far Chrishell has come. Before the dance, she told viewers, per Entertainment Tonight, "We all know Cinderella had a rough start, so I really relate to her in many ways." She added, "It's the ultimate rags to riches story. Cinderella was dreaming of a different life. That's what I was doing, watching soaps, wishing I could be one of those glamorous girls on TV. I auditioned, and I ended up booking the role. It changed my life."
As much as fans like to watch stars fall, they also love a good success story. Last night's performance, paired with Chrishell's pale blue princess-inspired ballgown and most importantly, her chemistry with partner Gleb Savchenko, is exactly what fans love to see when it comes to celebs making their way to the top. Now if only we knew how she is going to top this performance!
