Maren Morris Shows Off Stunning Post-Baby Transformation At The ACMs
Like everything else in the wake of COVID-19, the American Country Music Awards on Sept. 16, 2020, looked very different than previous years. For the first time in its 55-year history, the ACMs were held in Nashville, Tenn., instead of its usual venue in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, according to The Tennessean. Instead, artists performed on the stages of Grand Ole Opry House, the Ryman Auditorium, and the Bluebird Cafe, and the virtual show got aired for a completely at-home audience, with no in-house seating. Artists used their tour buses as their green rooms, and only one artist was allowed in the building at a time to ensure health and safety protocols.
But regardless of the empty audience, the new venue, and the drastically different setup, many stars still shined just as bright as in previous years. Included in this list of artists was Maren Morris, who was glowing on the red carpet just months after she gave birth to her son, Hayes Andrew Hurd, in late March 2020, according to Mix101.5.

Maren Morris rocked an ambitious dress
Rocking a calf-length, form-fitting dress embellished with orange and magenta plant print, Maren Morris strutted down the red carpet with a confident swagger, rocking a silhouette that one fan said was reminiscent of Khloe Kardashian. And can we talk about those gold earrings? Too cute.
Not only was Morris a nominee for the ACM Awards this year, but she performed her song, "To Hell & Back," made in honor of her late producer Busbee, who died of brain cancer, according to Taste of Country. And evidently, her newborn watched the event from home. "I don't know what time in the show I am, but he can stay up a little late to watch Mom," Morris joked to Taste of Country Nights. "I don't think it's quite registered [to him] that the people in the TV are real."
Although there wasn't an audience in 2020, Morris was eager to spend a night out of her home during COVID-19. "Especially after having a kid a few months ago. It's like 'Oh, I'll definitely get dressed and go perform to a room of no one,'" she said. And man, she did look fabulous doing it.
