What's Really Going On With Aubrey O'Day?
Aubrey O'Day rose to fame as a member of the band Danity Kane and later, in the group Dumblonde. But she didn't just stop at music. The star has appeared on Donald Trump's former reality TV show, Celebrity Apprentice, MTV's Ex on the Beach, and Celebrity Big Brother 18, per her IMDb credits, in addition to many other shows.
O'Day has also dated some TV celebrities, including Jersey Shore's Pauly D (real name Paul DelVecchio). In addition, O'Day allegedly had an affair with Donald Trump Jr. after they met on season 5 of Celebrity Apprentice, while he was married to Vanessa Trump, according to Us Weekly. The affair went on from 2011 until early 2012 and Vanessa and Donald remained together until 2018, when she filed for divorce, per The New York Times.
So it's clear that no matter what she's doing, O'Day is comfortable in the spotlight. One need look no further than her Instagram page, where O'Day gets candid and sexy as she shares pics with her nearly one million followers. However, her look in real life may be drastically different from her social media persona. Here's what's going on.
Aubrey O'Day may look surprisingly different in real life
Fans are confused about what's going on with Aubrey O'Day. The Danity Kane star was photographed walking her dogs in Palm Springs on Aug. 30, 2020 looking totally unrecognizable. Only a day later, she hopped on Instagram Stories, flaunting a plunging top and rocking blonde waves with full makeup, according to the Daily Mail.
The difference between O'Day's Instagram photos and the ones taken in Palm Springs threw fans for a loop, as the star looks so different. According to The Blast, the image that O'Day presents on Instagram "barely resembles" that of her walking around IRL.
One week before the Palm Springs sighting, O'Day shared an ad for the Flat Tummy app on Instagram, which offers workout plans and recipes. Fans commented on O'Day's altered appearance, speculating about plastic surgery.
For the record, O'Day has actually opened up about the work she's had done (including lip fillers and Botox) and how she utilizes filters to enhance her photos. In 2019, she said to Us Weekly, "I know all the tricks and I use them."
After the Palm Springs controversy, O'Day addressed the rumors on Instagram Stories, seemingly accusing outlets of misrepresenting her body. She posted a full-length selfie of her body, holding a piece of paper with the time and date, and wrote that her lawyer "needed this photo to defend" her against the rumors. "It's so f**king sick what people will do to a woman's body for click bait!" she wrote. "When is this industry going to stop abusing women's bodies?!"
