The Truth About Peter Weber And Victoria Justice's Relationship
During Hannah Brown's season of The Bachelorette, which aired in 2019, viewers got to meet 30 guys who vied for her heart. While not everyone made it to the finale, Hannah made a couple of strong connections and people hoped she would find her happily ever after. Spoiler alert: She didn't, but pilot Peter Weber was a standout contestant from the beginning. While Peter was sent home just before the final rose ceremony, he went on to become the Bachelor in 2020.
Throughout Peter's season of The Bachelor, Bachelor Nation experienced a lot of turbulence (see what we did there?) Peter proposed to Hannah Ann Sluss, but they split after a couple months together, per Screen Rant. Then, Pilot Pete realized he still had feelings for his runner-up, Madison Prewett, but the two couldn't make things work either. Ultimately, Peter found love with Kelley Flanagan — who was in his top six group of girls — after the show wrapped.
Even after The Bachelor ended, Peter continued to make headlines. In June 2020, social media users were surprised after Caitlyn Jenner posted a photo of herself with Peter and his family following a golf excursion. Surprisingly, Peter has a couple of famous friends, including Disney alum Bella Thorne. "Hahaha when your long time family friend is the @bachelornation and now you become obsessed Hahahahah," Thorne captioned a screenshot, which was posted on Twitter in February 2020.

Peter Weber and Victoria Justice go way back
Before Peter Weber was part of Bachelor Nation, he grew up alongside Victorious alum Victoria Justice in the Sunshine State. "So great catching up with you today @pilot_pete!" Justice captioned a photo of herself with the reality star on Instagram in June 2019. "For those of you who watch The Bachelorette, I'm sure you know Peter. We've been friends since I was 9 back in Florida & our moms are good friends (so let's not start any crazy rumors ha). We all haven't seen each other in years & it was so much fun catching up & reminiscing."
At the time, Peter was competing for Hannah Brown's heart on The Bachelorette, and Justice made it clear she didn't know any spoilers. "I still have no idea how the show ends!" she added. "Can't wait to seeeeee."
Of course, fans were shocked at Justice's connection to Peter. One person wrote, "MY TWO WORLDS JUST COLLIDED AND I CAN'T FUNCTION," while another echoed, "That's crazy, haha. What a small world." A third user added, "WHOA PLOT TWIST." Apparently, Hollywood isn't so big after all.
Victoria Justice thought Peter Weber was a 'great Bachelor'
Peter Weber's season of The Bachelor aired in January 2020, and at the time, Victoria Justice was pleased ABC picked her childhood pal. "I'm so proud of him," the Zoey 101 actress told Life & Style magazine in February 2020. "I think he is a great Bachelor, and I know that he is genuinely such a good person." Although Justice noted that Peter had a "rough season" (read: lots of drama), and "kind of [went] through a lot," she was hoping Peter would find what he was looking for. "He deserves the best ..." she added.
Luckily, Peter found love with Kelley Flanagan — even though it was a couple of months after The Bachelor ended. "With Kelley, it literally sounds so cliché — I can just be myself," he told Entertainment Tonight in July 2020. "She truly gets me. She's my biggest fan and she supports me and she's always there for me. I know I have my partner in crime forever."
Even though Justice has been in the entertainment industry for quite a while, she admitted she could never see herself competing on the ABC franchise and gave Peter credit for testing the waters. "Dating, in general, is not easy but then dating on-camera ... it's a lot," she divulged.
