Teen Mom's David Eason Is Unrecognizable In Latest Mugshot
David Eason, the husband of Teen Mom 2 alum Jenelle Evans, got into trouble with the law again following a June 2020 incident. Here's what happened: Eason allegedly hit one of Jenelle's male friends in the neck with a pistol due to a "misunderstanding over keys," TMZ reported. The friend and another male pal had accompanied Jenelle to the couple's North Carolina home to retrieve her belongings after a fight with David, and that's when things supposedly went south. "David misplaced his keys, neither Jenelle nor any of the men were in possession of the keys," Celebernation reported. "They were then found by David."
As a result of the alleged fight, "David was arrested and booked for 2 misdemeanors — assault with a deadly weapon and communicating threats," TMZ noted.
Jenelle addressed the incident on Facebook, writing, "I just want to let the public, tabloids, and my fans know that IM OK, IM SAFE AND SO ARE THE KIDS!" She also told Celebernation that she had planned to "move on from the relationship."
The breakup and David's arrest follows a long list of legal issues — just one day before the June 12, 2020, incident, he was arrested after failing "to show up in court for a misdemeanor charge against him," earning him another mugshot, per The Ashley's Reality Roundup. And let's just say this new mugshot seriously stands out from the rest.
David Eason's new mugshot shows off his growing beard
David Eason's older mugshots show him with less facial hair, while his June 2020 mugshot (pictured above) features a big, bushy beard. The new pic also has a dark appearance due to David's black sweatshirt. And as for his facial expression? Some might argue it has a menacing vibe.
As of this writing, David has been released from jail on an unsecured bond. "I'm upset how everything ended up and wish the situation was taken in a more serious manner, I didn't agree with the unsecured bond," Jenelle Evans told Celebernation about the legal development.
David is set to appear on court on July 6, 2020, for the incident involving Jenelle's friend, according to In Touch Weekly. He'll then appear in court for the misdemeanor charge on July 28, 2020, per The Ashley's Reality Roundup.
It's unclear whether Jenelle will stick to her plan of leaving David, as their marriage has been on-again, off-again for a long time. Case in point: After the Teen Mom 2 star broke up with David in October 2019, they reconciled a few months later.
We guess fans will have to wait and see how this all plays out.
