The Truth About Mila Kunis And Sarah Michelle Gellar's Relationship
Sarah Michelle Gellar may be famous for playing a demon-fighting hero on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but she's also known in Hollywood for her famous group of gal pals. It certainly seems like those who become close with Gellar stay close to the super caring star. The actress explained that kind of bond when she took to Facebook in August 2018 to share a photo of herself and Shannen Doherty, writing, "Friendship isn't about whom you have known the longest. It's about who came and never left your side." Aw, so true and so sweet!
In September 2019, Gellar opened up to Us Weekly about how her friend, Selma Blair — who battles multiple sclerosis – inspires her. "I don't think I could ever be what Selma has gone through, what she shared, the strength that she's given people," she said. The actress continued to discuss both struggle and support, saying, "It's a true inspiration and it's a learning lesson, and it's a curve about friendship and being able to ask for help and all of these things that you don't know that you're capable of."
While those relationships are surely special, those ladies aren't Gellar's only famous friends. She happens to have a connection with Mila Kunis, too.
Mila Kunis and Sarah Michelle Gellar are BFFs with another star
While it's clear that Sarah Michelle Gellar takes friendship seriously, it turns out that she also enjoys the lighter side of her friendships. That includes her relationship with former That '70s Show star Mila Kunis and Gellar's Buffy the Vampire castmate Seth Green. Just check out Gellar's Instagram account and you'll spot Green on a double date with the actress and her hubby, Freddie Prinze Jr.
While Kunis doesn't have a social media presence, she does show up with Gellar — who went to high school and is longtime friends with Kunis' ex, Macaulay Culkin — somewhere else that you can see onscreen. "A friend of mine told me you were credited on Robot Chicken for being Seth Green's hairstylist. What's the story behind that?" Kunis was asked on Reddit during her 2015 AMAA (ask me almost anything).
Kunis revealed that she and Gellar have a little friendly influence over Green, who is one of the show's creators and executive producers, saying, "Um, Sarah Michelle Gellar and myself are credited in ROBOT CHICKEN many, many times for doing things that do not exist. Seth is our best friend, and we made him do it."
Granted, not all friends can give you a (fake) credit on a popular show even if they wanted to, but not all friends are famous like Green and his pals.
