The Untold Truth Of 90 Day Fiance's Alexei Brovarnik
90 Day Fiance stars Alexei and Loren Brovarnik welcomed their first child, a boy, on April 14, 2020. "This is what pure happiness looks like," Loren captioned a shot of the sweet trio.
The arrival of their son, Shai, caps off the couple's unique love story, which began in Israel. Florida native Loren met Alexei, who was working as a medic at the time, during her birthright trip, and the two married in September 2015 after a series of dramatic twists. From their epic wedding day fight that was captured by TLC cameras to Loren's fears about revealing her struggle with Tourette Syndrome, there was plenty of drama to go around. But despite these bumps, the two appear happier than ever, especially now that they're parents.
As for Alexei's story specifically, he faced many challenges before making it in America and made a lot of sacrifices to be with Loren, which we reveal after the jump.
Alexei Brovarnik accomplished a major milestone
For many couples on 90 Day Fiance, securing American citizenship is a major hurdle, especially when the aspiring U.S.citizen wants to include their family in the process. Just ask Alexei Brovarnik, who was devastated to learn that it could take about 13 years before he could bring his brother from Israel to the states. When Alexei asked his parents whether they'd ever considered leaving for America without his sibling, they answered no, per The Inquisitr.
Although this was tough for Alexei to hear, he received good news in January 2020, when he reached a major milestone in his citizenship journey. "We just had Alex's citizenship interview and he passed it," Loren Brovarnik gushed in her Instagram Stories (via In Touch Weekly). "After years of applications, waiting, hard work, and patience, @alex_brovarnik got approved to be a U.S. citizen."
It sounds like Loren and Alexei are doing amazing as a couple, unlike Mohamed and Danielle from 90 Day Fiance, who had quite the tumultuous time on the show.
Loren Brovarnik claims Alexei saved a person's life
In March 2020, one month before the arrival of the couple's baby, Loren congratulated Alexei for saving a man from drowning. Loren took to Instagram to share that, during their trip to the Bahamas, Alexi witnessed a supposedly "intoxicated" man struggling in the ocean. "As you can see, Alex is dragging out his unconscious body while his 'friends' did nothing!" the new mom captioned a video of the incident. "We are meant to be in a place in time for a reason! Alex and his friend Sean were meant to be at this beach, at this exact time because if not, who knows what could have happened!"
Loren continued, "My husband saved a man's life today! And I couldn't be more proud, yet not surprised at the same time!"
Alexei worked as a paramedic in Israel, so it makes sense he jumped into action when needed.
