What Bruce Willis And Demi Moore's Quarantine Together Is Really Like
In case you were wondering, Bruce Willis and ex-wife Demi Moore are having a blast in quarantine! Speaking on the Dopey podcast on April 18, 2020, the former couple's daughter, Scout Willis, admitted it's been amazing to have the whole family under one roof — though the actor's current wife, Emma Heming, and his two younger kids are not with them.
"It's been so funny because to me they're just like my super f***ng weird parents, but to everyone else, they're at this different level. It's actually been really cool," Scout said of Bruce and Moore, and the scandal that them quarantining together has apparently caused.
According to Scout, the family has been staying in Hailey, Idaho in the house where she and her sisters, Rumer and Tallulah, were raised by their famous parents before they divorced in 2000.
"It's been really funny to have both of my parents in the house where they raised us, which has been really cute," Scout said on the podcast, according to People. "They're both such nerdy, adorable, '90s parents in a small town where they chose to have their kids and not be in LA. It's been pretty cute."
Demi Moore and Bruce Willis are living their best lives
It's clear from the stars' Instagram posts that they're having all the fun while in self-isolation. On April 13, 2020, Demi Moore shared a hilarious photo of the entire family sitting in the living room reading Laura Day's book How to Rule the World from Your Couch. The Ghost actress captioned the shot, "Family book club... How to Rule the World from Your Couch — quarantine edition."
She's also shared various shots of herself with her daughters and one incredible photo of herself, ex Bruce Willis, their kids, and their kids' boyfriends wearing matching green-and-white-striped pajamas. Even the dogs are wearing them!
While it's unfortunate circumstances (the coronavirus pandemic) that brought the whole family together, Scout Willis admitted during her talk on the Dopey podcast that it's been a blessing to be able to spend time with her parents. "It's some divine timing too, of getting this much time to hang out with them," she said, per People.
Bruce Willis and wife Emma Heming are doing just fine
Prior to Scout Willis' podcast interview, fans could not understand why Bruce Willis decided to self-isolate with ex-wife Demi Moore rather than with current wife Emma Heming and their two young daughters: Mabel and Evelyn.
"My stepmom was supposed to come up here with my little sisters but my younger sister, who is now about to be [6] years old, at a park, had never gotten the talk about not f***ing with [hypodermic] needles that she found so she actually tried to poke her shoe with it and poked her foot," Scout explained (via People). After that, Heming was in LA awaiting test results from the doctor, but then, according to Scout, "travel got crazy so my stepmom stayed in LA with my little sisters."
So, that finally explains it! Heming and her girls are still in their Los Angeles home, while Moore and the Willises are living it up in Idaho. Still, there are no hard feelings. Heming has been sharing sweet comments on Tallulah's and Demi's quarantine Instagram posts.
Bruce was married to Moore for 13 years from 1987 to 2000. He married Heming in 2009 and they've been together ever since.
