The Most Controversial Claims NeNe Leakes Has Made About Her Castmates
Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes is known for many things, like shading her cast members and creating drama on and off-camera. Not only is Nene sassy, but she has a knack going for the jugular and hitting where it hurts. That's likely because she often is at odds with her former best friends, and can whip out every deep dark secret and insecurity they've ever shared with her at the drop of a hat. Yikes.
Recently, NeNe has been specially extra and her jabs toward the RHOA cast have become even more jaw-dropping. During the RHOA Season 12 finale in April 2020, for instance, Nene and Kenya Moore's season-long drama came to a head, leading to an actual fight that security had to break up. But shockingly, the brawl is nothing compared to what these two have been saying about each other off the show in interviews and on social media.
Buckle up, RHOA fans, because this is one wild ride.
NeNe made an accusation about Kenya Moore's daughter
NeNe Leakes and co-star Kenya Moore have feuded for years, and it looks like their battle royale has recently boiled over. Case in point: During the Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 12 finale in April 2020, Nene claimed that Kenya and her ex, Marc Daly, were never even married in the first place. Then, in a conversation with television personality, Wendy Williams, she went after Kenya's baby, Brooklyn, who she welcomed in November 2018.
"I am not anywhere talking about that because that's her baby, You see me on a red carpet asking where her eggs were found, saying it was Marc's sperm and some eggs that they bought or found out of the country somewhere — that's why the baby looks so much like him. I'm happy for her to be a mother," she said, insinuating Kenya didn't use her own egg to conceive Brooklyn (People). "If she found an egg outside up under a chicken, I think it's great that she had a baby."
Things are definitely going to get real during the reunion once Kenya's had time to watch the episode and process all the talking NeNe did behind her back. Stay tuned.
NeNe and Cynthia's bestie status went up in flames
Cynthia Bailey and NeNe Leakes have also had their fair share of drama in recent years, despite once being best friends. Both women have thrown out tons of accusations and claims, mostly surrounding who is more famous, has more friends, and is more relevant. Most notably, NeNe alleged that Cynthia was recorded on tape talking about her like she was a "dog" and said "really horrible things," per Entertainment Tonight. NeNe also called her "weak" and "desperate," and added on Instagram, "Me and my team be chilling! We ain't thinking bout you girlllllll."
She also alleged that fans of Cynthia are in the dark about her true self, claiming that her ex-friend has done a lot of "down low" and "very sneaky and underhanded" things that don't make it to air. She added, "I always come out looking like the bad guy. She's done a lot of f—ed up stuff and that's just for real."
The frenemies have since made up (sort of) in Season 12, but all the back-talking at Kandi Burruss' baby shower in the finale might have changed all that.
NeNe Leakes has come for all of her castmates
The accusations never stop coming from NeNe Leakes these days, and even Kandi Burruss has caught some heat. NeNe said in a YouTube Live on March 16, 2020, "Kandi just can't be on my side for nothing." Kandi did admit to being "petty" and "bumping heads" with NeNe in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, but that likely won't be enough to calm NeNe before they get together at the reunion.
NeNe also came for Eva in a March 2020 interview with ET, saying that she needs to be replaced this season as she hasn't carried her own storyline on the show. "I think only one person on this cast doesn't seem to have carried any weight this season," she said. "And I think that's very obvious who that person is, and I don't think they actually sit in the cast that well." And although they made up during the Greece cast trip, NeNe targeted Porsha last season, calling her fat and a "buffalo." Ouch.
Obviously, NeNe rarely stops slinging shade at her castmates. Judging by the energy she brought to Season 12, the RHOA reunion, which, per Bravo, will be virtual due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, will heat up very quickly.
