The Truth About Victoria Fuller And Chris Soules' Relationship
There's no doubt that Victoria Fuller brought the drama to Peter Weber's season of The Bachelor. The brunette beauty, who wasn't shy about crying on camera, couldn't seem to escape some unsavory rumors about her past. Remember on her hometown visit in Virginia Beach when Peter's ex-girlfriend, Merissa Pence, pulled him aside to tell him that Victoria had been the cause of many destroyed relationships, according to Page Six? Or how about when photos surfaced of Victoria modeling in an "ad campaign wearing White Lives Matter attire," per Cosmopolitan, after she claimed she had no idea how to model on an earlier episode of The Bachelor when there was a modeling challenge? Yikes!
Victoria's modeling past really came back to haunt her when she won a later challenge, earning the chance to be featured on the digital cover of Cosmopolitan, according to CNN. Once the "White Lives Matter" photos surfaced, Victoria's winning photo shoot was nixed, according to a letter from the editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan.
It doesn't even stop there! In February 2020, news broke that Victoria was arrested for DWI back in August 2017, per Page Six.
Now, there's new info about Victoria thanks to some impressive detective work on the part of Reality Steve, who claimed on Twitter on April 15, 2020, that Victoria is currently in Iowa with Chris Soules, a Bachelor alum with some drama of his own.
Why is Victoria Fuller in Iowa?
In mid-April 2020, Reality Steve (real name Steve Carbone) dropped some big news about two Bachelor Nation alums, Victoria Fuller and Chris Soules, saying on Twitter: "(EXCLUSIVE): One of the more random Bachelor 'couples' that I can't say I ever would've guessed. I don't know how long this has been going on or how serious it is, but I can confirm that Victoria Fuller is currently together in Iowa for the week with Chris Soules. Discuss."
And discuss they did! Twitter turned into a frothy mess of comments about the couple. Someone made reference to rumors about Victoria's home-wrecking past, tweeting, "He's 38, she's 26... idk about how that may work out. He's not married though.. o we are moving in the right direction." Ouch!
Someone else shared side-by-side photos of Chris and Victoria's mugshots (save the date cards, anyone?) with the caption: "Match made in...prison?" The photo brings up Chris' unsavory past. So what exactly is his story?
Chris Soules' dark past
Chris Soules, a farmer from Iowa, appeared on Andi Dorfman's season of The Bachelorette in 2014 but didn't get the final rose, according to Page Six. ABC then brought him on as The Bachelor in 2015, where he ended up proposing to Whitney Bischoff, a fertility nurse from Chicago. However, their love story was short-lived and Soules and Bischoff broke up shortly after the show ended. But why does Chris have a mugshot?
Soules seems to have a dark past of his own. According to Page Six, in April 2017, Chris "was driving a pickup truck that rear-ended a tractor in northern Iowa." The tractor driver, 66-year-old Kenneth Mosher died and Chris left the scene of the accident. Page Six reports that Chris "accepted a suspended two-year prison sentence" and agreed to pay a fine of $625. According to his spokesman, Chris "was devastated" to hear that Mosher died.
Like Victoria Fuller, Chris was also convicted for driving while intoxicated back in 2006, per Page Six. But both parties seem like they are trying to move on from their past and look to the future.
Bachelor Nation quarantines together
Chris Soules seems to have moved on from his past troubles and is now (tempoarily?) quarantining with Victoria Fuller in Iowa. Both reality stars have remained silent on their social media about the new relationship. The last thing Victoria posted was a quarantine-related shot that makes no mention of Chris. Meanwhile, the Iowa farmer is much less adept at social media and his last post is some sponsored content from Carhartt that got shared in mid-March 2020.
Meanwhile, Victoria and Chris aren't the only Bachelor Nation stars who are quarantining together. Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan were spotted in Chicago together at the end of March, according to Page Six, getting way too close for quarantine guidelines.
Peter spoke on Bachelor star Nick Viall's The Viall Files podcast in April 2020 and said of Kelley: "We're not dating. Could I see that in the future? I'm always transparent, yeah, of course. I'd be extremely lucky and very happy if that happened."
It definitely seems like love is in the air for several Bachelor alums and things clearly work out way better off camera — go figure!
