The Untold Truth Of 90 Day Fiance's Darcey Silva

90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star Darcey Silva hasn't been lucky in love, to say the least. After divorcing the father of her two daughters, Silva entered a long-distance relationship with Jesse Meester, a man 19 years her junior who lived in Amsterdam. Although the two had great chemistry over the phone and on social media, their connection didn't translate well in real life, and Jesse's visit to Darcey's home state of Connecticut ended in a bitter breakup. "You never loved me," Darcey shouted at Jesse as they parted ways.

In Season 3 of the show, Darcey appeared to find happiness with a man in England named Tom Brooks. However, that relationship ended after the designer became frustrated with Tom's ability to commit. The distributor for a sports fitness company also belittled Darcey during their final meeting in New York, asking her if she had gained weight since the last time they had seen one another. However, Tom claimed the remark was taken "out of context and chopped to create drama," per The Blast.

The bottom line? Darcey continues to face heartbreak after heartbreak, and it appears her life before these failed relationships wasn't easy either.

Darcey Silva had an explosive fight with her twin

Darcey Silva runs a fashion brand alongside her twin, Stacey (pictured right), and the two have always been close despite their occasional disagreements. However, their relationship took a turn for the worse in February 2018, when cops were called to their condo following an argument, which culminated in "both women attacking the other," The Middletown Press reported. "We got citated, we never got handcuffed, we never got sent to jail, we just had to go to court and the case got dismissed and we're fine," Stacey said about the incident during an episode of the 90 Day Fiancé Live aftershow (per In Touch Weekly). "It's nothing I wish upon anybody, we learned our lesson."

Stacey didn't explain the reason for the fight directly, but she did seem to hint the topic of Jesse was to blame. "I want to say my sister and I love each other very much and we're twin sisters, we have an amazing bond, we have arguments like any other sibling," she explained. "It was just tit for tats that night." She added, "Honestly, we have for tats all the time, I tried to open her eyes on many occasions to let her know that I feel like [Jesse] was not being a good person to her and manipulating her in his own right — even though he says she manipulated him."

As of this writing, Darcey and Stacey appear to be on good terms.

Darcey Silva lost her brother to cancer

Before Darcey Silva starred on TV, she suffered the major loss of her brother, Michael Silva, in July 1998. Darcey's sibling died after a "long battle with cancer," as noted by an obituary in the Hartford Courant, and the twins created the House of Eleven brand in his honor. The name was chosen because Michael was born on May 11, and died on July 11, making the number special for the women. "House of Eleven forever honors the memory of Michael J. Silva by donating a lion's share of our profits to the Michael John Silva II Cancer Foundation in addition to other worthy causes," the brand's website states.

Although it's clear Darcey has endured a lot of hurt in her life, she's looking forward to the future after her terrible breakup with Tom Brooks. "He's not perfect," she said of her ex on Before the 90 Days. "That's not someone I want to be around. I don't deserve to be treated that way. No man will ever take advantage of me again."

Nicki Swift wishes Darcey the best in her journey to find love and happiness.
