Exes Demi Moore And Bruce Willis Self-Isolate With Their Kids
Demi Moore and Bruce Willis solidified themselves as one of Hollywood's hottest couples when they tied the knot back in 1987. However, they divorced in 2000, according to People magazine, after welcoming three daughters into the world, Rumer Willis, Scout Willis, and Tallulah Belle Willis. While the marriage didn't last, the family is obviously pretty darn close these days — especially considering the fact that they're isolated together during the coronavirus pandemic, which has seen many stars exposed to the illness and has led to the death of several celebrities.
While there are numerous ways that you can defend yourself against coronavirus, the best way to keep yourself and your loved ones healthy (as well as prevent the spread of the illness) is to wash your hands and practice social distancing, which means staying away from public places and large groups. Basically, you need to stay home in order to stay safe. And that's just what Bruce and Demi are doing along with their kids in an absolutely adorable way.
The famous family looks cozy in matching PJs
While it's unclear why Demi Moore and Bruce Willis are in isolation together, it may have to do with the fact that he has two young daughters at home, Mabel and Evelyn, who he shares with his wife, Emma Heming Willis. If the actor needed a place to remain isolated while also keeping a safe distance from his little ones, perhaps Moore offered to put him up while, inadvertently creating some sweet moments at the same time.
Demi took to Instagram on April 7, 2020, to share a shot of herself and Bruce, along with their daughters, Tallulah and Scout Willis, as well as Tallulah's boyfriend, Dillon Buss, and a few other friendly faces, including no less than five dogs (yes, that's a teeny, tiny pup that Tallulah is holding). What made the scene even sweeter was the fact that everyone in the photo was wearing matching Leveret pajamas – even the dogs! Tallulah shared an additional shot of her parents in their PJs where Bruce can be seen making a strong fist while Demi is flashing a thumbs up, which is a rather encouraging vibe.
As cute as this is, it's not the only way the family is spending their time together.
Demi Moore shared how they're keeping busy in isolation
Dressing up in matching pajamas isn't the only thing that Demi Moore is doing with her family during the coronavirus isolation period. With plenty of free time on their hands, the group is keeping busy in a few different ways.
"Quarantine crew," Demi captioned a post that she shared on Instagram on March 28, 2020. In the shot — which included Demi, her daughters, and Tallulah Willis' boyfriend, Dillion Buss — the group was sitting on the floor with bins around them that apparently held the family's documented memories. The actress explained that they were "working on a family photo project." We'd love to see the finished product!
Demi's social media followers were also treated with another example of how the famous family is passing the time when the star posted a video of a musical performance. As Scout Willis strums on a guitar and croons a tune, her sister, Rumer Willis, sits beside her and sings along while Tallulah throws in a few lines as she also does a little dance with the tiniest of the family's pups in her arms. "Scenes from home," the ladies' mother wrote, adding, "#stayhome."
Fans who are listening to that advice are surely thankful for the glimpse into the family's heartwarming moments.
Fans are appreciating the much-needed reason to smile
When Demi Moore shared the photo of her pajama-clad family on Instagram, her followers were seemingly thrilled by the image and shared their appreciation for the sweet scene in the comments. "This makes me soooo happy," one fan wrote. Another added, "Omg this is the best thing I've seen this whole quarantine!!!"
"Y'all have Got [sic] to have one of the best families ever!" yet another admirer wrote to the star and her crew. "To see you all bond after all this time, trials, lessons, and blessin[g]s! I adore it and so many should take a lesson."
Comedian and television host Chelsea Handler also left a comment about the cute photo, writing, "Serious family bonding." And Bruce Willis' wife, Emma Heming Willis, even commented on the post of her hubby with Demi and the rest of the family, writing, "At its finest ... love and miss you guys." At its finest, indeed. How could it get any better than matching striped PJs?
