Bachelorette Star Tyler C.'s Mother's Cause Of Death Revealed

After asking fans for privacy earlier this week, Tyler Cameron is now opening up more about losing his mother, Andrea Hermann Cameron. The fan-favorite Bachelorette alum was interviewed by the Palm Beach Post, along with his brothers Ryan and Austin Cameron. The newspaper reported that Andrea passed away on Saturday, Feb. 29 due to a brain aneurysm.

Previously, Andrea's cause of death was unknown, but Us Weekly confirmed the 55-year-old had been rushed to the hospital for a health emergency. Cameron canceled a Good Morning America appearance scheduled for Feb. 28 in order to spend time with his family, and he asked fans on Twitter to pray for his mom. It was a few days later that Cameron shared a public tribute to Andrea, confirming the news of her death.

"Today heaven gained an angel. We will love and miss our mother dearly. She will live on through us and through those that she has had an impact on," Cameron wrote on Instagram. "While we grieve, we ask for two things: First, tell those you love that you love them; and second, please let us take this time to celebrate her life in private. Thank you for all of your love and support."

Andrea Cameron was 'a mom to so many'

The Cameron family has already been through a lot in recent years. As revealed during The Bachelorette, Tyler Cameron's father, who he lovingly calls Pops, nearly died from a health scare and spent time in a coma. Cameron told his dad on-camera during their heartwarming reunion, "You getting sick, that was one of the hardest things I ever had to go through in my life. Signing away your rights to go into surgery killed me. I want you to see my wife. I want you to see my kids." Luckily, his father was in recovery by that point.

Now, losing their matriarch is likely equally difficult for the family. A source told Us Weekly, "Tyler is utterly devastated and in shock. It doesn't feel real. His entire family is strong as hell but their world has been shattered." Andrea, who worked as a real estate agent, was well-known in their Florida hometown, according to what her sons told Palm Beach Post. She threw parties when they were growing up and she loved spending time at the beach.

In the interview published March 4, Cameron said of his mother, "She was a mom to so many." His brother Ryan echoed that sentiment, explaining, "My mom didn't care who you were, where you came from, what you've done or anything at all. She saw everyone as the same. She just wanted to help everybody and help them out with whatever they needed help with."

Tyler C.'s mother was 'super supportive' of his 'Bachelorette' journey

As fans saw during his Bachelorette hometown date, Tyler Cameron's mom wanted the best for her son in life and love. Although fans know Cameron didn't end up with lead Hannah Brown, he held his head high. "She was super supportive," Cameron told Palm Beach Post of his mother. "But what was so amazing ... she was supportive for [season star Hannah Brown] and everyone else who was a part of that show but she was also supportive to the random fans." According to E! News, Brown commented a heart emoji on Cameron's IG post honoring his mom.

Cameron's mom was proudly by his side as he was thrust more and more in the spotlight, including when they attended the People's Choice Awards together in November 2019. She wrote on Instagram at the time, "I love you Tyler! You are America's sweetheart!! Thank you for that wonderful experience!!"

Reflecting on that experience, Cameron told the newspaper, "It hurts because there were so many cool things for us to do down the road but I'm grateful I got to spend that kind of event and moment with her." That's beyond bittersweet, and fans are sending the whole Cameron family plenty of support right now.
