What diet is Chelsea Houska on?
In May of 2018, Chelsea Houska took to Instagram to get real with her followers about her weight loss journey. She said she had gotten "tons of questions" about what she did to lose the weight and was happy to share her secret.
After giving birth to her second child, Watson, she "wasn't feeling great about [her]self and wasn't feeling like [her]self in general." It was then that she decided to team up with a weight loss and health coaching company called Profile. "Before I knew it," Houska wrote in the sponsored Instagram post, "I was where I wanted to be AND feeling great."
As part of a sponsorship deal, Houska participated in an interview with Profile where she shared even more about her struggle with weight gain during her second pregnancy. "I wasn't caring about what I ate or trying to eat healthy and I ended up gaining a lot of weight, which resulted in me having a rough time toward the end of pregnancy," she said in the interview.
With the help of her new weight loss program and one-on-one coaching, Houska said she was able to start making healthier eating choices. Before long, making healthier decisions came naturally. "Now it's instilled in my choices," she told Profile. "It's not like I choose a bowl of pasta now. I always choose the healthier option. It's habit."
Chelsea Houska said she was able to lose 50 pounds with the program and she stuck with it through her third pregnancy as well. "This time I feel amazing," she said. "I'm healthy and it's just an enjoyable pregnancy." In her aforementioned sponsored Instagram post, Houska said, "My doctor has been so glad to hear that I've been following their plan and making it a priority to take care of myself."
We're so glad to hear it, too! And now that little Layne is on the scene and Houska has three youngsters in the house, we're sure the former Teen Mom is glad to have all that extra energy!
